Goofy goobers being goofy goobers.
Whenever Flume and Peggy collabed prior to this project, you could expect the hardest, most abrasive banger this side of the universe (HTBAR, Cult Status). We Live In A Society seems to go for something different, which is perfectly encapsulated on "Track 1" where after minutes of trying to find the perfect rap beat to go Sicko mode over, the track morphs into a gorgeous, open, and breathtaking synth-heavy passage, with no Peggy in sight. A point blank shotgun blast of adrenaline aimed straight at the nervous system.
By the time you read this and refresh the page, my review will already be gone and swamped in between 300 other reviews.
Great album though, could be a track or two shorter, but Tyler hits us with some of his most introspective and emotional tracks ever. When you mix that in with his incredible ear for production, you get the greatness that is CHROMAKOPIA.
The flow of the album is something that I had to get used to, many times transitioning from experimental trap bangers to piano ballads, ... read more
Jamie 10/10
9 years after "In Colours", which was an astonishing debut solo album, Jamie xx returns with an album that shows incredible growth and improvements in every single facet of his musicianship.
This album is joyful, energetic, and eclectic for all 44 minutes of it's runtime, and never drags for even a second.
"Wanna" kicks off the album in a slow yet incredibly beautiful fashion, perfectly encapsulating what the soundscape will be for the following 45 ... read more
The blaring guitars over the usual rage lyrics provided by Peggy just don't work for me on this one. I still like it. There was never a point where I was completely zoned out or anything, but for most of the project I also just kind of sat there thinking "Yeah, the production is great... But I feel nothing". A lot happened, it sounded great... I felt nothing
I think when I say that "either on or off the drugs" and the last few tracks are easily my favourite off this ... read more
Mr Morale just Big Steppin all over OV-HOE's grave at this point bro, the fuck
When Quadeca's scraps are yards better than Kanye's best (ha!)
On a serious note tho, Quadeca drops a scattershot EP consisting of ballads, bangers and everything in between. To me personally, it's on about the same level as his previous album "I Didn't Mean To Haunt You". In fact I find SCRAPYARD to be an overall more consistent listen, where the highs aren't as high as the best of "IDMTHY", while the lows and irritations I had on that album aren't nearly as present here, ... read more

Can't wait for two more albums of mid songs and anti-semitic tracks. Literally can't think of a single track I would like to revisit... Maybe BEG FORGIVENESS, but even that track goes on forever without actually going anywhere.
21 Savage does 21 Savage things over some awesome production.
If that sounds like your thing, you'll love this album. If it doesn't sound like your thing, you're not missing all that much.
Surrounded by great production, on Quaranta we find Danny Brown in an incredibly introspective and (mostly) more mellow mood.
While I'm not ready to call this his "Mr Morale & the Big Steppers" just yet, seeing how he even admits that he's "Payed for a therapist, but I still ain't changed" on Tantor, it's still a huge artistic and personal step that will hopefully lead to more incredible albums from this man, who clearly just can't miss!
Constantly fantastic production, mixed with tracks that just don't do anything for me.
The middle to late parts of this album drag quite a bit and aren't nearly as strong as some of the starter or closer tracks (What's her name, Irisoft Livemixx, Motion Blur and Untitled Emotional Acid are incredible)
Occassionaly an absolute eargasm, holistically not as fantastic though.
This is the album I'd use to scare away the hoes at parties...
If I ever left my room and was social enough to know any hoes 😞
Or go to parties for that matter 😞
Pump Rock x Heavy Metal is the funniest shit I've heard in a while.
But on a slightly more serious note, whenever you hear "CB on the beat" expect a horrible, barely listenable beat.
Whenever Lil Pump opens his mouth expect a barrage of dumb, random, unfunny lines that make you question your sanity.
And that's that. There's almost nothing else to talk about. Some of the features are okay (masterpieces compared to Pump), wouldn't recommend to anyone, even if they're a fan of Lil ... read more
GECS fans the type of people to give this shit a rating of atleast 70 while fully acknowledging they have no fucking clue why, just that this music transports them back to the good old days of neanderthals discovering fire and banging rocks together...
And the thought of that makes them happy ジ
*lying in a bathtub with Flume, thinking about how tf Skrill got the mix so tight*
Welcome back, king!
