wow, that was a fucking experience lol
it was a solid ep, really could feel the creator had fun making it and that they were passionate about it
although, the execution was a little lackluster ngl
the mixing/mastering weren't that good and made the drums and synths get drowned by all the noise
also, it sounds shit on speakers lol
either way, pretty solid release, enjoyed my time spent on reviewing it
oh...my...fucking...god
i didn't know half of the hits here were from slipknot when i used to listen to them as a kid
actually, this whole album doesn't feel like slipknot
i don't get it, this is so fucking soft, this feels like fall out boy but (kinda)good(some of the time)
holy shit, i'm writing this while listening to the extra tracks, is this really fucking slipknot???
goddamn, they must have really fallen off, holy shit
i can't believe i slept on this last year
this emanates such raw energy on every track
the vocal performance is amazing and the instrumentals go crazy but also know when to be dialed down
too bad they're br*tish...AGAIN
0/100
meh, it's alright, i guess :/
lol
in the 70s, before the rise of modern punk/shogaze ass sad music about emotions, i guess there weren't that many bands that took themes such as existentialism and the power of greed over a man that seriously or, at least, none had such great execution as pink floyd
too bad they're br*tish
0/100
Damn, Grave Guy really went all out on this one
the mixing has improved so goddamn much, the compositions feel really dynamic and, overall, it just sounds great
i wish LIQUIDATION OF FORM went on for longer ngl, it felt like it had something going for it and then it suddenly stopped, and the only thing really holding GARBAGE BITCHES from being a 90 for me is the mixing, it's the only track on this album i feel like lacks on that department
anyways, gonna stop bitching, here are the ... read more
why are the track ratings so high while the score is so low?
well, the reason is: this album is not a 70
i swear to god, i've never seen an album that made me question so much "wtf were they thinking" to the point i couldn't pay attention
i'll revisit it soon with a closer look, maybe the score will increase, maybe decrease
whatever happens, i know i'll be fucking confused
in conclusion:
the bass drowns out the mix
mfs can't sing
this album is ajr shoegaze
GRAVE GUY HAS ARRIVED TO SLAUGHTER ALL SEWERSLVT CLONES AND MAKE ELECTRONIC MUSIC GREAT AGAIN
the general sound of this shit is fucking amazing, merbow only wishes to make something so cozy-sounding
yeah, listening to this front-to-back for the first time, my only wish was for it to be more memorable
like, i remember liking what i was hearing A LOT, i just CANNOT REMEMBER ANY OF IT LOL

controversial opinion:
i've always been told that swans was a really slow band that either you got it or you didn't
as a first time listener to swans, i don't believe this shit is slow at all, everything is perfectly paced
for me being slow means dragging out for too long, but, instead, what we get is a somber ballad that takes it's time developing it's ideas and i don't consider "taking your time" as the same as "being slow"

i think this is my favorite band now lmao
HOLY MOLY, HOT MULLIGAN MADE A NEW ALBUM???
i remember 2 years ago being an angsty teen with no gf, i used to listen to them all the time, thankfully i fell off the midwest emo scene and became a more socially adjusted human being
so what a surprise it was for me to wake up and find they've got a new album, i immediately was reminded on how i only listened to them 'cause i needed something other than McCafferty to listen to, and i came to see how bad this would end up being
wasn't that bad for ... read more
