When I knew Kevin abstract was going for a more instrumental/rock style on this album I thought i was going to love it but although I enjoyed the vibe of this I don’t remember a single song on it after 3 listens.
In my opinion this is silent planets best work to date. Not the first band to go for this futuristic/electronic style but definitely one of the best to do it. Metalcore fans are lucky to get this in the same week as the Spiritbox EP.
Great follow up EP from their debut album Eternal blue, the fear of fear expands on what eternal blue did so well. with the hard hitting angel eyes which could be called holy rolled 2.0 and beautiful closed ultraviolet which showcases the other side of Courtney’s beautiful vocals this sets the bar for the genre.
