1. I Am She Is We Are
Great intro, dreamy, ethereal, and very glittery anime coded (poor choices of words)
2. How To Pretend
Has all the same vibes as the first song, but with better production and effects, takes me back to the year 2005. Has a culminating ending without sounding too dense I love it.
3. Mimosa
I can't understand a single thing they said on this track, but is complements the track so well. makes me feel like I'm on a beach in a late 00s video game

This album feels so nostalgic despite having only first listened to it a whole year ago.
So this is the first Trav that I actually enjoyed upon first listen bc I hated Birds, and Rodeo was deathly mid with the problem for me residing in the nocturnal vibes those albums occupied, so it was a no-brainer his most bright and popular album would make me like him as an artist.
My score has changed on this album from time to time, with me thinking it's near perfect to it being just ok trap, ... read more
Dunno why this is rated at just 83, I feel like this is at the same tier of albums like Thriller and Imaginal Disk
Britney Spears, to me, before getting into music seriously, has always been a legend in pop music, but I always saw her as a singles artist, so she was never an artist I would really consider delving deep into cuz I thought her albums would be either too dated or boring for me. I'm glad I was wrong.
I wanted to get in this album bc I had a little 00s pop phase (credit to ... read more
I think the big problem with this album for me is the mixing. It already sounds old as hell, which i don't like, but the audio switches from muffled to switching between the ears. Something that I think only works with the title track due to its psychedelic nature, i mean, Eddie Hazel killed it on that track. The shorter funk rock songs in the middle are nice, and that's all I have to say for them. The last song, "Wars of Armageddon," is the worst song here; the lyrics are ... read more
Ep 6: 2 Alive
At least he didn't have a sophomore slump
I was highly critical of this album during the first days I was listening to it. I think it just had the problem of being too long, like Up 2 Me, and needed some time to let it soak in.
And now that I have this, it's just Up 2 Me but with more lows and fewer classics. I mean, only classic songs I could rlly consider on this project are Poppin, On tha Line, and Jus Better, everything else is good, just not memorable.

Rage Ep 5: Yeat's Breakout
I lied, saying 4L was his best can't believe I slept on this for so long.
On my first few listens, I admired that it was unique, but I just felt that there weren't that many standout songs besides my favorite Turban. But I realized I kinda let one really great song overshadow the whole album, plus I had (and still do) a bad time knowing the difference between certain songs on rage/trap albums, especially when they're long like this one. But I ... read more
Rage Journey Ep 4?: Trip At Knight
Tbh I'm conflicted with this album, like one day ima say I like how nostalgic the production is and cool how rage used to sound like this, then tomorrow I feel like the production goes overboard with the EDM aspect and becomes dated to me.
That's why I have this at a strong 6 cuz my opinion could really change day by day. A common take on this album is that the sound is too repetitive, but I mean the features kinda counter it, like I think ... read more
Rage Ep 3: Project X
The album was quite a surprise, and I wasn't expecting the chill delivery/production he has throughout the album. Its nothing too crazy or unique, but I think I like it a lot because it subverts my expectations, as the most I've been exposed to Ken Carson are songs from AGC. Prod is low-scale and synthy prob due to Starboy, whose production I always enjoy (Rock n Roll, Hella) synths are always clean and pleasing to the ears, which I've heard is way better ... read more
Rage EP 2: 4L
This whole project was just...surprising. Like he didn't stick with one singular sound, the production varies from song to song, but still complements his unique style. Every song on here sounds like it was recorded in a UFO, with these alien synths (Sory Bout That, Swerved It, Foreally) especially that last one Foreally is one of the best beats he's rapped on. It sounds so curious for some reason.
This is prob the only Yeat project I listened to where I would replay ... read more
Rage Ep 1: Whole Lotta Red
So I have to restart this series bc I realized the first 2 projects I reviewed weren't fully rage. They were basically trap so consider that a precursor to this if yur confused.
Whole Lotta Red is an album I'm already familiar with. What's kinda different about it tho is that my initial response to the album was that it's ass, and I only liked a few songs and thought the delivery was just unorthodox and not rlly structured well. I thought ... read more
Rage Journey Ep 2?-After Me
Upon realizing halfway thru the album, I realized that this wasn't a rage project, just had one song (Off The Map) which wasn't that good its was just ok, pretty overrated. But on the whole, it was solid, just suffered from some ok tracks but it doesn't really tank the album for me, so it was somewhat enjoyable. Lotta songs were catchy tho I can give it that. Hang with the Goats has pretty good vocal delivery, other than that its all I have to say for ... read more
Rage Journey Ep 1: Teen X
I decided to make a series cuz Ive seen them on this site. One of my friends tried to put me on the whole rage scene and kinda gave me this list of rage albums to review, so let's get into it. Ngl, the only highlight of this is Yale. I really like the beat, it sounds so bubbly and synthy and gets stuck in my head on occasion. Everything else on the other hand, is just mid it literally goes good beat selection, mid vocals, and bad lyrics, but because this was so ... read more
The Race gotta go down as having one of the best beats in hip hop hall of fame
I think this album is cool and really made an impression on me bc I had no idea Pop Punk was a thing in the early-mid 90s
I wanna give flowers for the cover first, as that's what drew me into this album. I like the classic comic strip /Where's Waldo vibe mixed with the skate-punk energy of this album, really makes me happy for some reason
The album hooks you in with the song Burnout, talking about well-being burned out, so it also hits you with that dose of relatability

Meteora - 2003
I feel like they really evolved from their first album and drifted away from nu metal a bit while still retaining the core sounds. Everything really sounds improved on here.
1. Don't Stay
Such a heavy opener and gets me into the mood of the album, the riffs here are fantastic, so is Chester's singing thats all I gotta say
2. Somewhere I Belong
This song makes me feel like a REAL MAN...
3. Lying From You
Doomish vibes from this

Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory 2000
I’ve only listened to the hits from this band so it was really interesting to see more of the music they made I quickly enjoyed it which each listen it’s basically what I’ve been listening to all this week
1. Papercut
This intro was tuff that’s all I gotta say besides having a ten out of ten bridge/outro “THE SUN GOES DOWN”. You kind of get the whole feel of this album just through the intro and I like that good introduction ... read more
