It was nice to see a return to some of the (relatively) harder flow, abrasive beats and rough vocal delivery that initially launched Curry into the spotlight. Despite not being the MOST aggressive and definitely not the most lyrically sharp or provoking, I LOVED this "ep" great production good features and satisfying flows brought me great happiness in these troubling early days of 2020.
A lot of people I see just a aren’t giving this album a fair chance, Trippie has matured very well overtime and at this point has perfected his sound, fantastic production may carry trippies lyrics but he is one of the best vibe setters in the game. On top of that the features were well chosen and it felt like there were no throwaways. One thing I appreciated was the constant short length of the songs. The only complaints I have would be 1. An almost perfect album, amazing lyricism and despite the fact that it's 22 songs there is no filler whatsoever.
Overhated, a lot of solid cuts here but it sort of feels like Kanye is just summing up what he did over the course of his career. A little of Kanye from every era if you know what I mean
Whoops, I created the most influential album of all time.
There's good emotion displayed here and a lot of sensitivity, I appreciate it, there's just not a ton of replayability here for me.
Solid album, but far from Rocky's best, Rocky struggles to find a new identity, but there is still hope for the future. Solid new sound but way too much filler.
Formed pretty well for a posse album, lots of bangers. Solid A$AP tape.
Wow, what a beautiful album, perfect blend of genres, beautiful voice, good production. And doesn't suffer from dips in quality. Tons of replayability here.
A really solid effort, but a tough casual listen you have to be extremely invested in this. Nonetheless very solid jazz-rap.
Not my kinda rap but immensely enjoyable, the only complaint is that tracks start to melt together in your head.
Amazing potential is shown, great emotional writing. Alone/EA6 one of the top tracks of the year.
I'm not hating it, the emotional 6lack does little to stand out from the rest of the R&B game but I still love him for what he is, emotional, felt out and painfully relatable. While the backstretch is tough, I still got a lot of enjoyment and replayability from this album.
