WHAT?! Ok ok this is crazy. I’ve always had very mixed emotions about these guys, as I was absolutely obsessed with their music when I was really young. I grew to kind of really dislike even some of the songs that I liked back in middle school and stuff, which is rare for me as I am a very nostalgic person. This is another album that I find suuuuper nostalgic and the majority of the songs I used to know by heart all the way back in grade school. But I understand why people can tend to find a lot of it slightly annoying and gimmicky at points. Overall it rounds out to be a pretty fun record throughout though.
God this album is so abrasive and raw. So fun to scream along to but the lyrics and the meaning behind the whole thing are beyond my bisexual half-white ipoc ass. It tears and rips into her own soul and she rips her own chest and mind open for the world to see her pain and hardships and it's beautiful. If you ask me to show you some harrowing horrorcore music, this is 100% the first album I'm spinning for you.
Sai blows but the livestream experience was amazing and their versions of a lot of the songs that they revisited are MILES better than the originals. The version of heathens/trees made me cry when I heard it cus I'm a nerd.
This song was super exciting when it released for me, and it was one of the first big singles during the 2020 lockdown. It's cute and better than most of the songs on SAI.
I will say this song aged kinda poorly and idk how I feel about it but it's catchy and cute I think sooo yeah.
