This is so funny, it disses Jump-up but at the same time it sounds blander than a can of chicken stock
65 • cool
Nice, mellow & unique sounds as always, even though it didn't resonate with me that much. Didn't expect the collab with william light though
77 • Let's explore into the unknown, shall we?
Myselor's first release in 2023 on Blackout ventures out beyond the limits of human perception - both sonically and musically. The drops aren't that spectacular, but makes this release interesting is the use of cinematic, otherworldly soundscapes that feels like you're exploring beyond the universe.
The first track, Soul Power, is already manifesting the theme that will serve as a default for the rest of the EP. (kinda reminds me of older ... read more
90 • fkin' delicious
A VIP version of an already track, with jazz solos, nice chords and that filthy ahh 2nd drop. Who doesn't like this?
69 • cool (cheesy) anthems to sing-along to
Yes, we all heard about Koven. Last year, they start to release single after single on their upcoming album, Higher Ground on EDM label Monstercat. Their Pt. 1 of the album seems a bit dull, with Industrial Strain carrying the weight of the release.
Good thing Koven's follow-up EP release this year is honestly not that bad. As a Koven fan who wasn't that happy with the previous release, I can appreciate this.
As part of their style, it features ... read more

yoo enei you better chill out, this is so filthy.
The arrangement reminds me of sinking though
72 • vibey [re-review]
A fun anthem to play to your sets. Don't expect this track to sound revolutionary though, it ain't gyrofield.
This track is about no matter where you are, we vibe to DnB together, whether if you're in the bed alone or at Let It Roll. The moment you hear the stacked vocals vibrating across the room, you know you're going on a fun ride.
The buildup is one of the sections I enjoyed the most. It's fking AR/CO in the vocals. It's fun to sing the hooks, and the vibe is ... read more

Is that a jellyfish on the cover? Anyways this track immediately sent me to the depths and now I'm drowning. Well atleast I see a lot of jellyfishes that
rubs their tentacles to make that plucky synth sound, corals that shakes to make crystal like sounds, rocks rattling that sounds like DnB drums and a huge-sounding siren which I bet it came from a submarine.
76 • sweaty ahh gamer music
edit: why did I rated this 86? yes it's a banger but why so high LMAOO
Screechy, upbeat, bass-heavy, looks like Belgian jump-up to me. I honestly don't know why I like this so much, but oh well.
And oh, in the middle of the first drop there's an "OOF" sample in it. I don't know why it is there, but it makes me giggle everytime I listen to it.
And no, let's not talk about the absolutely filthy 2nd drop. It's off-limits at this point
52 • solid but boring
Honestly the biggest problem with most artists. They tend to produce something that is designed decently, but the arrangement sounds uninspired it felt like it was made in a factory.
Yeah, that ½ of Pixel Terror seems to be in a creative rut..
84 • classy, yet ruthless bangers
tick-tock, tick-tock, new Blackout release from a new artist. Maybe not that new because Metanoia is a collaboration between Smooth & Wooga. And oh, they hit hard on first listen.
Clockwork has one of the things I vibe on Drum & Bass, the percussion work. This track has a lot of them while still sounds sense. I like how the drop switches every 16 bars too.
and oh, funny snare at the 2nd drop. it's sounds tinyy

48 • a bit of a letdown
Two decent tracks and one track that bothers me. If you're wondering what track was it, it was Electronic. The chords and synth choice is eerily similar to Despersion - Warhead.

Most of the tracks inside are radio friendly, yet it's so complex when you try to analyze what's inside it.

The techno beat is executed well here though. Not to mention the DnB part too, both of them work well together. Only gripe is the repetitive lyrics, but I think that was deliberate. Well, it was described as "black ... read more
78 • they got too much fun on this
Mob Tactics is back on RAM with a bang. You will find out why..
This EP is basically what you expect from them. It's hard-hitting, funky, ruthless yet it doesn't take it seriously. All of them fits well on the theme on some way, but the track that stands out the most is Blink. It's funky, weird, chaotic in a good way. Honestly don't know how to describe this.
However, I find a small problem on this work. I appreciate the little things that stands out ... read more
64 • a mixed bag
Another Noisia remix package coming right through, this time it's the fifth release.
The problem with remix comps is they are usually hit or miss. This one is no exception. Although I've vibed with Moytra's remix of The Entangled, Fade Black's remix of Get Deaded or Annix's remix of Anomaly, I also find some tracks forgettable.
88 • soaring high, together.
4 years later, Sub Focus & Dimension collabed again to make this summer hit - wait, it's not summer today...
Rob [Dimension] brought a vocal recording from Jo Hill then sped it up. Not only that, they write some lush chords, put some drums n stuff and you get a dance hit. Yep, this track has 21.5m streams at the time I rewrite this [May 12].
The first drop is decent as always, but once you get into the 2nd drop, you will see yourself vibing so hard it ... read more
