Edit: i think its about time i wrote an actual review for this masterpiece.
Selected Ambient Works 85-92 is one of my favorite albums of all time. It is so deeply personal, yet so intensely danceable. This thing definitely masters the art of painting a picture using sound. The landscapes are so vivid and real. There's a tangible element of restrained hostility through some of the parts, and when the dark side of this album shows... all hell breaks loose.
