Album #33, 1990s, Soul
With 2026 bringing back Bruno, Rocky, Kanye, Keem and Swea Lee...what do you think will happen first?
A) GTA 6 release
B) Rihanna, Frank Ocean and Kanye/Travis Collab all dropping
C) World Peace
D) new Lauryn Hill Album
I don't know why this was the Soul album I got recommended as it's more hip hop soul than actually soul but it's ... read more
Cover is literally dead.
Music is better, but not great.
The album is dark but has heartfelt moments and actually has me entertained most of the time. Chief is a bit inconsistent and the beats are kinda repetitive but songs like 'Only 4 the night' are a great addition to change things up.
Not many rage albums that can beat this.
This is the Rodeo of Rage. Dark. Modern. Synth heavy. Distorted guitars. Heavy autotune. It's not as consistent and doesn't have the variety but it's a damn solid rage album and probably Opium's best.
If overseas, ss, loading and mewtwo from the deluxe replaced the 4 weakest songs this album would be a great no skip project.
// Time to Bully everyone that doubted the goat 😤 //
I'm so happy he made a cohesive body of work. This album will go platinum in my headphones for sure.
After a lot of controversy and heavy use of AI Kanye found a way to make the bully era the best he could.
Kanye pulls this of with a sample heavy industrial sounding album, that reminds me of Yeezus. I'm a nutshell I would say just a bit more dusty than dark and more reflective than aggressive. I see that Kanye is still pushing ... read more
You know I had expectations. I really thought we get some nice Fetty Wap. But I would say I'm not gassed and it's evenly disappointing as ADL 🫩
Many say the first few songs were better- it had nice moments but it was a little to bland and boring. Fetty Wap is a melodic rapper and not a singer, if I want to listen to RnB I'll listen to other artists.
Some songs are catchy and he got some solid melodies. It's alright and got some bangers ngl.
Hot, hyped up garbage for the most part.
Quality wise, because off more filler it's a step down from the EP last year. However it's Yeats best Studio album to date.
That doesn't mean Im not still waiting for Yeat to be more interesting than his tiktok hit ability on a full tape. On ADL the features do a lot of heavy lifting. The production is between actually amazing on songs like "Let King Tonka Talk" or "Went Wrong" to expensive jokes, like on ... read more
I listen to this to know what not to think. Love the dark production.
Not much character. Production is alright and he has a good voice... Nevertheless It's hit or miss and a boring listen. Imagine this but as an 1h album, it already drags at 20min. Digicore is still porlizing to me but he for sure doesn't pull it off as good as slayr.

Album #32, 1990s, Alternative Rock
@Fred2121 I finally listened to a full Radiohead record. This is art. I love how the production comes together pulling a lot from spacey synths and psych rock but combining them in a different way a Pink Floyd would adding pianos and more. Instrumentation is actually insane. It sounds futuristic without feeling forced, making this record ... read more
I am excited for the future of Leon Thomas and I like that he isn't getting boring.
It's very different than Mutt and even more interesting and less mainstream. With this record he sets himself apart and I get Jimi Hendrix vibes from a few songs. Sadly not every song holds the same level, but this sound is really great.
Actually don't let the rating fool you... I love the sound but it's too short and my fav song Baccarate could have been better with a final verse too.
Red Teenage Melody is at its best when the dark beats make you indulge in Lovell's toxic or paranoid flows. At times repetitive but this is a solid tape with clear standouts.

Album #31, 1990s, Pop Rock / Britpop
Now I know why they are called Oasis.
Firstly, yes, some Songs Sound very simple and reuse same formulas, but don't let the simplicity fool you- they know how to make an album. They pull it off that the I feel very good while listening to this record, actually feeling like I'm in an Oasis. It feels like sitting next to a warm ... read more

Album #30, 1990s, Industrial Rock
It's incredibly dark. It's industrial. It's loud, it's disgusting, it's creepy. The sound is one of a kind. One moment it's eerily quiet, like a void and the next moment it's loud & dangerous, like an inner war. But then another time it's getting weird and paranoid, balancing these inner dark ... read more
What in the ADHD
The production is everything but not minimal. Notably, they pull it off to creat a soundscape that reaches from calm to the most energetic thing you ever heard and then in the next second u are floating. The Autotune can be a bit annoying, but this is just a staple in the genre. You get vibes, some solid songwriting and you never know what the beat will do in 5 seconds. Only bad thing is that my blood pressure is very high now. Help.
