Solid with a hint of boring slop. The style is fine and has some potential, but when it it starts getting as repetitive as sexy drill for example like in this project it will never be more than a hit or miss genre.
Look out for this guy in the future. This guy might be the next KayCyy. TK has written multiple tracks on bully and even did some vocals. This tape promises potential, but he sounds to TikTok Esque. Maybe he can develop his style to display his talent better. What I like most about him is his melodies and he has a nice delivery too. Kanye just has an amazing eye for talent.

Frank Ocean might have more clones than Carti.
Of course Choker (what a bad name btw) has his own style and doesn't just copy. His vocal inflections often do sound like Frank tho. I really enjoyed this project, as it is smooth without getting boring. However not every song has the same level and he isn't pushing boundaries with this. Still good.

Album #44, 2000s, Reggaeton
While it's not my favorite genre to begin with, I can enjoy this type of music especially when the weather is playing it's part. While being a really influential Album for Spanish mainstream music, this isn't really selling anything except solid background beach music. There are some solid songs but as an album experience it falls ... read more
Swae Lee is like Hip Hops tomato sauce (tomato, tomáto). You add it to a dish and it tastes great, but you don't eat it on its own. He should probably stick to features.
You know, some albums you need to give time to grow on you. This is one of these rare cases where one and a half listens is actually enough to say it's mid. I am a big fan of Swea's melodies but he can't make an interesting solo project. Look, I do think Swaecation was underrated a bit, however it ... read more

Album #43, 2000s, Contemporary RnB
Usher can do hits, he can do smooth, he can do introspective (well kinda) and he can moan a lot. Yeah and the last part made me cringe multiple times. The album has solid production and while he has a melodic talent, some songs are kinda...well maybe corny fits here actually. There isn't much substance as well, but that isn't the ... read more

Album #41, 2000s, Trap
Highly influential Album for the biggest subgenre of hip hop in the 2010s, this was the blueprint (of course Kanye had something to do with it...)
Very fun Trap Muzik. Nice melodies and chil production between warm summer music and late night party vibes.
T.I. does very solid here but often the beats carry a bit. It's very consistent but I also ... read more

Album #40, 2000s, Grime
Look!!!...he made the devil's horns!!! He has to be a sat....
// Anyway //
I am a big fan of the British UG Rap scene and Dizzee Rascal was one of the biggest pioneers for the modern sound of the grime scene. On here these beats go so damn hard and he is also rapping his ass off. It's just so vibey and full off energy. While there is some ... read more

This is one of my favorite albums oat.
2015 really was a special year, especially for rap.
I just loved the dark Trap and Cloud Rap that was poplar around that time.

I didn't know that this documentary guy also made music.
Well at the first glance, while rapping isn't his best field, he does very well here.
Fun fact: Did you know he was named 50 Cent because one of the bullets was 50 Centimeters deep in his chest... Probably not because he actually got the name from betting on surviving getting ... read more

Wdym 'piano rock' ? Isn't that called Pop Rock?
But actually in a strange way piano rock describes this snooze fest pretty good. It's very piano. You get some solid instrumentals from time to time and I like the voice. What I don't like is what he does with his voice, no real emotions most of the time and just pretty ... read more

Album #37, 2000s, Garage Rock Revival
The album of the 'New' York, right?
Well, what can I say...it didn't quiet hit me, but I like it. Let's start with the singing. It's minimal, moody and works well but doesn't excite. The instrumentation has a vintage feel to It, but doesn't leave the comfort zone even though I love some of the guitar ... read more

Album #36, 2000s, Nu Metall
This album makes me wanna go to war. Is that propaganda?
I grew up loving Linkin Park. They were my favorite band as a kid and I must say I had some solid taste.
This is one of the best Metall Projects I've heard. I like both the rapping, as the singing performances, but I want to highlight late Chester Bennington for some amazing ... read more

Album #35, 2000s, Art Rock (Experimental)
Interesting production choices and there is no denying that. It's paranoid, it's calm and it's real. That spacey, cold vibe is perfectly displayed by the mix of jazz instrumentation and modern electronic to their rock base, which makes for a phenomenal one of a kind sound. However while the atmosphere is pulled of ... read more
Jo I hate when the streaming version is different (and that there are no trackratings here?)
Anyway I rated the og version before so this is just a correction because I never heard narcotics and what other songs were missing.
Ezcodlyee is the most consistent and best rage artist in the game rn. However there are a few misses on this tape but also some real bangers. A toss up if I prefer this or 'Stunt or Die 3' but it's important that he took new elements in his music and brought another really good album on the market to build his fan base. He is one of the only rage artists that aren't Opium and I think can go somewhere in terms of mainstream relevance. Maybe slayr too but I'm not so sure ... read more
