This is actually a great album from Melanie. I love the loud and chaotic sounds she was going for and her production, lyrics, and vocals improved tremendously. I used to love this album especially the deluxe one and for all of these reasons it's much better than her last two.
This was decent. This explored many themes and struggles that I relate deeply to so when I was younger this was one of my all time favorites. Highschool sweethearts and strawberry shortcake are my favorites but this album again lacks production wise and lyrically. Her vocals are also not that good. Better than crybaby
Melanie Martinez is a very problematic artist but she changed the way I see music and honestly gave me a passion for it so I'm going to rate her disc by separating the art from the artist. This is Melanie's weakest album but it's very nostalgic for me. I am not a huge fan of the production nor lyrics now that I'm older but I guess its not the worst album iv heard.
