you are an angel - it's fine to dream
69

its nice, but if you didnt like glass beaches output then skip this one

Iron & Wine - Light Verse
84

phenomenal, must listen especially for fans of the genre
good songwriting, touching lyricism, great performance
would love to see some touches of experimentation, him to try something new, but sticking to what hes good at is fine as well
"sweet talk" is my favourite

Iron & Wine - Hen's Teeth
80

oh yeah yeah iron & wine yeah i like this

it really packs a punch with every song, its very
thought out, and i believe ill b coming back to this a lot

Gorillaz - The Mountain
70

grief, india, psychadelia
not my favourite from them but very original,

Converge - Love Is Not Enough
75

good hardcore and i really respect that, "make me forget" is a track that really stands out but otherwise it didnt quite stick with me. worth a listen

Xiu Xiu - Fabulous Muscles
80

FLEX THOSE MUSCLES

90

the perfect balance between experimental and a conventionally musically enjoyable experience, my current fav xiu xiu release
apistat commander is my favourite song from them too

Xiu Xiu - Oh No
79

am i hearing right? oh yeah
unlike their other records, this one can be called beautiful. not in a haunting disturbing or otherwise 'different' type of beautiful, just - that.
lush production and emotional vocals, could almost fool youto not being xiu xiu

Xiu Xiu - Ignore Grief
85

dont know why the low rating but aight, solid piece of dark ambient, enjoyed it quite a lot

Oneohtrix Point Never - Tranquilizer
80

nice! if you like ambiental do not skip this one

They Might Be Giants - Flood
90

i love them :333
as a chronically online child, none of our favourite artists would exist without them
(tally hall, will wood, etcetera)

Will Wood & The Tapeworms - SELF-iSH
80

sure it can be Too over the top in some moments but its one of his best releases for sure

Will Wood & The Tapeworms - Everything Is a Lot
65

its okay, doesnt have the oomph of the rest of his output though, not a lot of experimentation and pretty mellow songs (in comparison to his other albums, not in general, its still will wood right) which honestly makes it a bit boring;; and kind of a slog to get through? because most tracks are over 4 minutes it gets kinda boring fast..

Will Wood - The Normal Album
80

weird little dude and his weird little autistic gay music <3

The Dear Hunter - Act III: Life and Death
80

theatric prog rock (the opera is silent) which is right up my alley, and if youre following the lore since act 1 it just adds to it

Kendrick Lamar - GNX
89

bite sized kendrick experience, very fun

Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city
90

i needed some time to get into kendrick to be honest, but it was worth it

"i want to give it a 95 on just how impressive it is but i like to be very subjective with my reviews so yeah i can appreciate the thought behind it and how good everything technically is from the flows to the beats but it doesnt necessarily mean its good music to someone subjectively. def going to eat my words in about a few months but oh well"
