Ethel Cain - Perverts
68

Yeah this "EP" aint my thing. When I first listened to this at midnight I was kinda paranoid from the 13 minute and 15 minute tracks. And the other tracks are all kinda boring or just good. I haven't seen myself return to this since its release.

Mac Miller - Balloonerism
87

I'm happy if this is the last Mac Miller album, because this is the best possible album to close off his discog.

For being made in 2013-2014 this album feels so new if you know what I mean (it feels fresh). With this mix of Jazz and Psychedelic hip hop you get this really creatively produced album from Mac Miller that for the time has a lot of soul and emotion for a Mac Miller project (I may have cried a few times when listening to this album). Funny Papers, Rick's Piano, and ... read more

Jamie xx - In Colour
95

Genuinely would be an almost perfect album if it was for "I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)"

I've always been fond of Jamie's production ever since I've heard his work in The XX, and the few songs from this album that my Dad would play when this album released. I feel like Jamie XX music oozes creativity and passion that I see little from other artist of this genre or similar genres. This album is just full of personality and these ethereal instrumentals ... read more

Mac DeMarco - Salad Days Demos
73

It's honestly just a worse salad days with a good chunk being forgettable instrumentals. I do quite like the demos for Goodbye Weekend and Blue boy tho.
Goodbye Weekend - 85
Salad Days - 79
Ken the Wolf Boy - 73
Passing Out Pieces of Me - 78
Organ Ronald Donkey Water - 68
Let My Baby Stay - 70
Pepperoni Playboy - 72

Avocado Andrew -67

Mac DeMarco - Salad Days
83

God is this album vibey.
This is still my only Mac Demarco album (I guess I also listened to the demo album too) I still quite enjoy this album on return. While I do feel a few tracks do start to blend into each other there are some quality songs on here. My personal favorites are Goodbye Weekend, Passing Out pieces, and Chamber of reflection. really like this one

Kubbi - Ember
80

100% JSAB biased speaking cause Cascade is my favorite level in the game, but this album is really fun and surprisingly all around the same quality. Besides Cascade that song is much better than the rest of the album.

Tyler, The Creator - Flower Boy
94

When I first ranked the first 100 albums I ever listened to this was in my number 2 spot, and while I don't think it's THAT good now its still one of my favorite albums from Tyler.
Here we see Tyler finally lock in and use his full potential to make such a lushful sounding album with probably my favorite production from Tyler in general. Boredom is one of my favorite songs off this album and my favorite Tyler song. I really love this album a lot and it really was a core part in ... read more

Neddie - Passerby
82

I still really like this album. Probably due to me not listening to a lot of future bass I really find the production to be really creative and lively. While I'm not crazy for some tracks like Moonlight or Sorry for Absolutely Nothing, Drift and the Final track make up for it being some really amazing songs.

Asian Glow - 11100011
81

Pretty good album. Liked the middle portion of this project while the beginning and end were much more of a mixed bag.

Gumshoes - Bugs Forever
79

A really fun album with a very unique album concept. Little Things, Alexandria, and Bugs Forever are actually really great songs.

lua trilogy! - 新世紀 Sunbelt Princess
80

Glad I still enjoy this one. Who are you? and Emerald eyes are some pretty great tracks, but i'm not a fan of I'll be in Las Vegas...

Edward Skeletrix - Museum Music
70

I like this Museum Music significantly more than the other one. Unlike the other one we have some actual good songs like Plastic Body and Drug Story which are still in still in rotation even a year later. The production is also just much better on this or it appeals to me more than the I am a monster version.

Edward Skeletrix - Museum Music
64

I remember hating this when it first released, now I think its just ok. Returning to this project I actually really enjoyed some of these tracks a lot more than when I first listened to them such as IDGAF and garcon. But I do prefer the other album than this one.

Tyler, The Creator - Cherry Bomb
82

Really liked this production era for Tyler as it really feels like a really interesting combination of the Wolf Trilogy and his future endeavors. While I feel it isn't as egregious as Bastard and Goblin by a long shot I do just enjoy Wolf more than this project, though this does have Smuckers his best pre-Flower Boy song. I really don't have much to say bout this one its just good.

Tyler, The Creator - Wolf
85

Easily the best from the Pre-Flower Boy albums. This really feels like him putting his all compared to his last two albums. Honestly the only songs I don't like are Pigs, Parking Lot, and Trashwang the rest of the album is really good. The production is really great and this album has some of my favorite early Tyler songs.

Tyler, The Creator - Goblin
60

If Fish didn't have the 2nd half it would be so good.
Goblin has better moments than most of Bastard, but has lower lows than bastard. Honestly this album kinda pisses me off I don't wanna talk or think of this album for a good while. Also Analog is really underrated.

Tyler, The Creator - Bastard
68

This isn't what I wanted for Christmas...
Honestly I'm really mad that the production on this album is mostly really good. Most of it reminds me of Devon Hendrix it really is its own vibe. Big surprise the lyrics and songs like sarah and tina are the reasons I don't like this album. Doesn't help that only 3 songs are on spotify. Idk this album has some good songs, but i would rather listen to any other Tyler album (maybe not Goblin tho).

Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
84

Fun Fact: Out all my album reviews with my dad this took the longest to finish being around 4-6 months because I just didn't have the motivation to listen to this album. I wish I didn't because this album is actually pretty good. All the hits are really good besides One Step Closer which I think is really overrated. A Place for My Head has always been my favorite song off this album ever since I first listened to this album. This album would actually be rated higher if it wasn't ... read more

Porter Robinson - Worlds
85

While this album has some of my favorite songs from Porter through Divinity, Sad Machine, Flicker, Fresh Static Snow, and Goodbye To A World, what brings this album down for me is the amount of just ok songs on this project. Polygon Dust and Natural Light some to mind the most. It really goes to show how much Porter has grown as an artist with his next two album being significantly better in my eyes.

Mild High Club - Skiptracing
81

A really chill and vibey album with a really strong starting 4 tracks, but is a mixed batch afterwards.
