Fine background music but not interesting at all as a standalone listen

While I think I generally prefer the dream pop sound of Disintegration, this period of the Cure sets the gloomy atmosphere so well it's hard not to be interested. Impressive that they managed an album this long while keeping the quality fairly consistent throughout. Big fan of the songs when the strings come in.

Pretty generic 60s psych, the singles hard carry but I enjoy the folky stuff too

More people need to know about this band man, incredibly catchy fast-paced emo with some of the best drumming I've heard in the genre.
