since it's only 4 tracks, i can't give it more than this... Still, very interesting shift in sound without changing what makes them distinct.
literally 3 good songs out of 14... Everything else is generic or just plain out bad.

nothing of the brightness, attitude or sense of fun that was so present in nikky-nack was traslated here.
Everything feels like watered down, tired and monotone. Everywhere their last record was like an explosion of color and attitude, here it sounds sober, controled. Like they tried to take it more seriously, not realizing that the emotional core needed for it simply isn't there most of the time.
Best tracks: Heart attack, look at your hands
Worst tracks: Everything else is pretty bad, tbh.
i was a expecting more juicy production and killer hooks like last 2 records... first thing i got, more or less. 2nd thing, not so much.
some really nice tracks on this... she's got that instagram-filter-sunset-in-ibiza-selfie kinda vibe, and it's all so smooth and silky. Very safe and background-y, but still a more than decent listen.
this is getting worse reviews than new FJM?
LOL fuck that, this is great!
As a musician, dude is a great addition to any track by OTHER ARTIST, but as a composer he just leaves MUCH to be desired... Boring and cringy at times.
so average, so bland, so washed down... It fell flat to many of my expectations... I didn't think surf was that good, but since it wasn't technically a Chance The Rapper record, I was still on board for this. it's not bad, but...
TPTB is currently the monst underrated album of 2015... Holy shit, fuck PTFK amiright?
NotM= 8.5
JD=10
Modern Classic... it'll be too late to take things back in 2020 when this becomes the symbol of a fuckin' decade.
