Dean's music is very meditative. even when he touches subjects like violence, drugs, relationships and the hardships of life, he seems to do it with airness, like floating. It's deeply empathetic apathy. Dean's characters are broken but never desperate, they seem to live in a perpetual state of crisis, one they navigate through zen-like state of dissasociation.
this is 2-step/garage. It's cool.
Homework: Listen to more electronic music.
while lacking in the immediacy that was on bops like "little bit" or "do my thing", Sensational more than makes up with more complex and lavish production and the bolder, almost experimental moments at times. All this, must remind you, while still remaining simple, smooth and ALWAYS classy.
Erika is shaping up to be the most consistent artist in RnB today, far and away better than anything that has dropped in the genre these last couple of years.

well that was kinda underwhelming, tbh. got some good tunes in there, but it felt kind of sleepy and lacking energy at times.
i dunno man, i listened to the live version of this on yt and it's fucking ace. Y'all need to chill to something else besides those putrid lo-fi beats made for future starbucks employees.
i like the alt-rock energy, reminds me of fishbone at points.
Was expecting a bit more whacky, tbh. Maybe will give this a go again in a couple weeks, see if i like it a bit more.
It's pretty good as is, tho.
holy shit this fucking SUCKS lol this dude is a clown... i commend his complete lack of shame or self-awareness, because this is cringe levels of bad.
right between Dean Blunt's or Organ Tapes' urban meditations and Mac Demarco's stoner nostalgia, Lean wears his inspirations on his sleeve on this one. An hypnagogic take on folk-pop, yet remains surprisingly ecclectic throughout, going from chamber (colours of tomorrow) to synth-pop that get pretty progressive (my city, som du). A very interesting batch of tracks, all tied together by almost flawless production.

how can this go so under the radar? So few people gave it a shot. it's an amazingly lush jazz record with a pop sensitibity that definitely doesn't detract from the experience. More like it makes it even better. very very good.

a kickass single (Rot), a better version of bloody mary kate and ashly (anaphylaxis) and the rest is really meh.

you'll see clearly one day. And you will all feel really stupid.
Chalk tablet towers and how far? really the only sub-par tracks here.
