PUP comes out with some of their most interesting and fun songs to date, with a wider pallet of sounds to choose from this time, with your jangle pop and indie sensitibilities that were more lowkey on their older stuff, or just not there at all. Too bad the production isn't really there. Also the skits don't add anything. At least they're short. This is gonna be a big grower for most of us PUP enjoyers of the world.
delirio de grandeza, in my opinion, is the perfect synthesis of this album. The vibrant and lively music is turned down a notch, its sharp edge and its distinct voice put in the background in favor of a washed down, lifeless expression of marketable "diversity" that comes across through Rosa's distanced performance, less it create rough patch or an edge in the smooth surface of the "product".
