This was rather magical. It sounds like sleeping in the heat of the sun as waves crash against your feet, and hearing people play on the beach. I kinda get the “meh responses” since this is very chill and not punching but it’s very much a happy and warm welcome as well as introduction. Reminds me of when the plane I was on finally boarded in Hawaii, and the happiness you feel and the smiles you’re greeted by.

Even if I didn’t want to admit it, I was curious about rodrigo ever since drivers license came out. the buzz around her, the fact that she was a teen around my age yet even though I didn’t know of her, and the fact that she had such a squeaky clean Disney image yet still put out a song like that. it was all intriguing and interesting to watch. it’s a really okay song. I feel like Deja vu and this are really solid. ima pretend driver’s license doesn’t exist lol
I’ve...really underestimated her. The way she uses her voice on this record, and the simple yet honest and authentic lyrics? Phew...ok Ms. Beer. I did not leave disappointed. I definitely will be checking out this again. This is solid for a debut.

Now lemme say that I love R&B, and I like Sweetener, so this ain’t coming from any bias against those two things
I’m disappointed. that’s all that I can express really.
