This should be a solo record. I don't hear the band. What's worse, Alex's singing is ridiculous. It sounds like a parody and his accent is cringe inducing.
It pains me we live in a world where no-one's heard of Spearmint. And to rate this album 50? That's sad. It has to be evened out.
The Rolling Stone review and especially rating on this album is ridiculous. And whoever works at EW and does these reviews should switch professions. They rate Ultra higher than Violator and SOFAD, that should tell you something.
