My experience with this album is certainly interesting, around February earlier this year I’d started to try and listen to more albums, and at the time had started listening to the albums which had received some of the most critical acclaim e.g Dark side of the moon, Rumours and Ok computer. At the time I was pretty unadjusted to listening to albums so a lot of the time it seemed more like a chore to listen to an album if I wasn’t already knowledgeable about most of the songs on ... read more
This album is so close to perfect, I truly love this album. It’s grown on me so much recently, i feel every track really helps you understand things about John Lennon. Also the line ‘I was the walrus now I’m just John’ makes me sniffle a little.
This is my second listen of the album, whilst on first listen this album really didn’t stand out to me on second listen I definitely enjoyed this album a lot more. Certain tracks like listen, twist and shot, please please me and I saw her standing there are generally enjoyable, whilst obviously this album doesn’t stack up to some of there later albums it’s a pretty strong start.
Seems weird to start with the second McCartney album but oh well, honestly this was super enjoyable for me definitely not as good as ram but the sound on this album is not something I’d expect from Paul so it was nice change in sound.
Normally when listening to music in class I find myself distracted and focused on my work but for like the whole album I found myself lost in this album. With time I can see this becoming my favourite pink Floyd album but as of now I just think it’s amazing.
Yoko’s track list is not bad and noting to scoff at, but my god Johns songs on this albums are some my favourite Lennon songs period.
This isn’t bad but just obviously feels unfinished in certain parts, but make no mistake this album still has some great tracks.
The opening track gives me chills man.
Honestly such a great album, as someone who has the patience of a child listening to shine on you crazy diamond is worth all of the 30 minutes it takes up.
Whilst the last track has some questionable lyrics, this a great album and quite a step up from earlier works of the Beatles.
This albums track list hits so hard, if you haven’t listened to ok computer please do so.
This album seems like something that needs to grow on me so this rating isn’t permanent, despite being slightly overwhelming this album is a really enjoyable listen with lots of different sounds all of which are enjoyable.
I want to clarify this album is great, there’s just a couple tracks which kinda miss, All though a day in the life may be the best Beatles song.
This album just hits the spot, I’ve listened to this album like 30 times and no time feels like a drag or like it goes on for to long.
