If only someone remade this album to have better mixing. That would be insane.
101 minutes long, 6 years in the making. J. Cole's "The Fall Off" truly shows he fell off- blank bars and the occasional moan vocal over the same 2 beats. He shouldn't need to prove more that he's a staple in the rap game either, but he decides to spend his time calling out 'fakes', making the album less about his life and more about what he thinks of people for no reason whatsoever.

There's something about this record that hits so close to home- It's beautiful and striving lyrics on undying and longing love truly show the complex mind of one who really seems calm and collected on the surface. I'm truly dumbfounded on how well Kill Bill can reflect this feeling onto music, and yet, he does it in the best way possible.

Death Grips never really strayed from an electronic approach to their music, but on their most recent record, it seems to be in full display. Every release, the trio seems to run farther away from their 2012 debut LP, The Money Store. It's abrasive and unique more hip-hop oriented sound is at the core here though- just buried under the heavy layers of new noises they experiment with. And with this new attempt, they seem to be surprisingly good and damn well consistent with it.

About time I reviewed this album. I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU: DIRECTOR'S CUT has been a staple in the albums I've liked for months, and the more I listen, the more I seem to appreciate what JPEGMAFIA does and how well he executes it. This production is out of this world, and he continues to showcase his talent in which he's able to flip insane obscure samples and rap amazingly over them. The also extremely apparent morph of internet culture makes me appeal to this record too, as ... read more
It's odd- Some four plus years ago, I was attached to this record, and revisiting its oddly familiar sounds and varying psychedelic atmosphere is both a breath of fresh air but also a lunge right into my past. The Beatles defined me in my opinion back then, oddly humorous and (mostly) happy. Though upon revisiting this band I see that it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. The very contrasting themes of bright songs like Lovely Rita and darker songs like A Day in the Life are truly ... read more
i have no idea what i was on when i first listened to this
i'm giving it a much lower score than my ratings cause this made me annoyed
(84 -> 90)
This is one of the biggest rollercoasters in an album i've heard yet.
As a double album, the contrast is very sharp. To put it one way, the first disc feels like you took a speaker and just drenched it in water, and let those buggy noises come out and shock you in the way, while Jenny Death is like if you took that speaker and just burned it as it made noise. That's the best way to describe it. It's just so insane.

As a wise man named shomethy once said, fridays are the antonym of bad. This ruined my friday.
ICEMAN, one of the most hyped albums of 2026, has finally released. Let's start with the rapping.These "bars" are genuinely some of the worst lines in MUSIC i have ever heard. Ever. The 'KYS ASAP' line, for example, might be the worst rap line of all time. Had this man retired in 2018, he would have been among the greatest rappers of the 2000s, dare i even say of all ... read more

didn’t change my life like the original but these songs are solid- though he kinda does too much with some of these songs. for example, replica could have been near-perfect song, but that grating guitar ending brings it down… still a good song. he could have done MUCH more with teddy swims, as his line kind of sucks the air out of KEEPER, making it feel less intimate and personal as BELOVED aimed to reach ... read more
