This album is truly an EXPERIENCE. It's such a change from her older albums and she's honestly never made anything like it. Her vocals are really sweet and relaxed and she's not really doing any crazy riffs or whistle tones, which is really nice to hear. They share the trap elements, using her voice in different ways than her prior records, similar themes and situations, just different outlooks. This is a really fun project that I didn't expect to enjoy as much as I did. It starts out with kind of a classic Kendrick track, 'wacced out murals' is dark and wordy asserting his dominance in the rap world as one of the best of all time. Whenever a Gracie Abrams deluxe drops, I always just feel like they are direct copies from tracks on the standard album that didn't make the cut because they were too similar. I may just need more time with these, but they don't hold a candle to the rest of the album.

This is a really solid debut album from Gracie, an artist that has become one of my favorite comfort artists over the past year. It takes everything great about "This Is What It Feels Like" but creates a whole new sonic landscape that is perfectly reflected in the album artwork. 'This Is What It Feels Like' is Gracie Abrams second EP although it feels like the perfect debut album. Gracie's writing style is very defined, but she doesn't branch out much. For this EP, it works. But for other projects it may not. The vocal delivery is not for everyone but she has an ability to show incredible emotion with her vocals and I don't think she gets enough credit for that. On the first listen of this record, I was stumped. I had a couple critiques toward the beginning of the record, but by the end, all of those critiques kind of proved to only be in the first couple of tracks. Honestly, one of Sabrina's most cohesive and concise projects to date! Before 'Short n' Sweet' I might've said this was my favorite project from her, just because of how hard it is to make really great Christmas music that also sounds fresh. My experience with Poppy has been an odd one. The first time I ever saw her was in 2020 when I saw a video titled “How To Apply Your Mask”… posted nearly 7 years prior to the pandemic. I’m starting my deep dive into Mitski, FINALLY! I’ve always been intrigued by Mitski and everything about her. Her voice, her lyrics, and her as a person. I love Dev as a YouTuber and I knew she made music, but I really didn't expect it to be this good. But, if I'm being completely honest, I feel like the production kind of carries. Her voice is very unique and I'd love to hear more, but with these lyrics and melodies I'm not sure if this is the best fit for her voice. This definitely surprised me though and I'm excited to see her more serious work in the future!

I feel like this is an album that needs and deserves to be sat with over a long period of time. While the vibes are great, I don't really see anything in Lizzy that's so different from the other singer/songwriter girls out right now. I hope to grow to enjoy this album as much as everyone else does, but for now it's a little above average for me.
