Strangely addictive, this comes off as the most straightforward and authentic project from Zheani to this day. Seeing that the handful of its tracks differ in styles, it stays cohesive and focused.
I guess, she had so many stories to tell on her biographics. She addresses her (childhood) problems in a poetic, grungy and convincing way. It's not hard to be captivated by how this journey of an album illustates her road to where she is now. As if we, fanboys, were witnessing the whole deal.

Cute, almost ethereal lo-fi r&b and vaporwave record from singer/producer, who f'd up her potential at early stages of her career.
Highlights: eternal patience, bring me back my light, vocals, rawness, performance, attitude
Weak spots: cheeziness, plateau/no progress throughout the listen, few odd tracks been ready to be cut off.
Unequivocal non-transparent take on occultism and lyrically sharp industrial hip-hop project.
Highlights: Whore of Babylon, rebellion, spirituality, instrumentals, unique delivery, BDE
Weak spots: lyrical callout of Manson out of nowhere, run-off-the-mill bars here and there
Except for muddy and baggy middle of its tracklist, this album flows perfectly and its production speaks for itself. + Overtly grand for a short film, when speaking of visuals.
Disappointment for sure. Sometimes they sound fresh and unique, sometimes forced, sometimes like Grimes, and other times like in their previous efforts.
Yung Lean matured quite a lot. While he was in early stages of his career, he might look campy and goofy (in retrospect), but now he's treated like a path tramper for dark trap / cloud rap.
Actually enjoyable dreamy spacey album. Cud's rapping is not a highlight tho
This ain't it. It felt rushed. Listen to Poppy or Zheani or IC3PEAK instead.
