The amount of SHOCK this had on the world was crazy, even I'm still trying to wrap my head around it almost 2 years later, holy hell
An actually decent Sematary project... WHAT?!?! THIS CAN'T BE!!! Ok, let's talk about it. FIrst things first, the album starts like any other Sematary project, absolute dogshit. I genuinely thought that this album would be just as bad as the other ones, but then "CHAINSAW PARTY" comes in. It's... actually good. What's happening right now, I must be daydreaming. Then the next songs plays and brings me back to reality. "This is Sematary we're talking about, ... read more
Mimi's Delivery Service was my first introduction to Good Kid. It was such a good song and I fell in love with it the moment I heard it. Then their "From The Start" cover came out and that's what REALLY put them on the map. Most people just thought they were a cover band at that time but some of their other originals blew up too. I've been a bit out of the know of Good Kid for a bit since I was mostly focused on other artists. When I found out they were putting out ... read more
"I hate my chud son, let's hide this song from the album and release it when his not looking" Great Fatherly love from Lord X everyone
I was recommended this song by Blake himself, so I just wanted to give my honest thoughts about it. I honestly enjoyed the song, the melody is nice and the drums and vocal chop are really creative and I enjoyed it a lot. However, I do wanna get into some critiques that I wish to bring up. Personally, I believe the intro is a bit too long and I think it would've been better had it been shortened a bit. The singing is good, Blake has a nice voice, but the lyrics get super repetitive and ... read more
Not really a Dream SMP fan anymore, but I still enjoy this song for what it is. I remember re-uploading the original promo on my TikTok when I first heard about it, so I was definitely a fan. I still enjoy the song, even if I don't listen to it anymore
Not really big on My Singing Monsters, but this is honestly pretty good. Still wouldn't play the game, but I respect the hustle
Pretty solid cover, but I wish he changed up the instrumental with this one the same he did with the "Your Idol" cover
I found out about this EP while I was on the Lost Media hunt for "Turning Gray". This entire EP was still on Charlie's old SoundCloud page, so it was free to listen to. I decided to check it out once I finished with Turning Gray, and here we are. I will say that this album is a lot more acoustic than Charlie's other work. He dwells into the acoustic sound every now and then, with the most recent one at the top of my head being "Vibrant Eyes" in 2021, but I will say ... read more
Ok, I know I JUST got finished listening to the Graduation Trilogy from Kanye West, but I was REALLY EXCITED when I finally found this piece of lost media all on my own, and I was dying to know what it sounded like. I took the time to listen to it and I honestly think it's pretty good!! Realistically speaking, this EP came out when Charlie was 16, so he was still polishing and finding his sound at the time, but for what it is, it's still really good. I do want to call out "When ... read more
Well, I kept my promise, My 100th review ever on the site, and it's Graduation. I'll probably pin this review in honor of the milestone, hopefully I remember to do so. Sadly, Graduation was not able to dethrone "808s & Heartbreak" as the best Kanye album (in my opinion) as it trails behind by two points, however, that doesn't take away from the fact that it's SUCH A GOOD ALBUM!!! This is my personal favorite album out of the Graduation trilogy (well duh, ... read more
We've have now gotten to the 2nd installment of the Graduation trilogy, Late Registration. I honestly enjoyed Late Registration a slightly more than The College Dropout. The songs are a lot more professional, the lyrics are more consistent and the flow is improved, and the skits... those DAMN SKITS!!! I love them so much, and I love the over-arching side plot of Kanye pretending to be broke only to get exposed in the end. It was so funny and I genuinely couldn't contain myself. ... read more
The very first Kanye album, The College Dropout. I'm taking my time to listen to the entire Graduation Trilogy to catch myself a glimpse into the early work of Kanye. Also, because I think it'll be cool if Graduation was my 100th review ever on this platform. For being Kanye's debut album, there are definitely a lot of highlights and hits off this project. There were some songs I didn't enjoy, yes, however, they were heavily overweighed by the sheer quality of the rest of ... read more
"I am a musician from Israel and this is my mixtape" ass album. HEAVY EMPHASIS ON ASS!!! Do Sematary fans just hate good music? I'm being so deadass when I ask that because every single song of this project is so fucking bad that I'd much rather listen to 2slimey. Not even my highest ranked song off this album was able to make it past the red. Their voices are jarring, the beats are bland and unbalanced, they just suck so bad!!! Also, I've never done this before in all ... read more
Another wonderful project by Kanye. This is more of an EP instead of an album considering it's only 7 songs and a run-time of only 23 minutes, but I still enjoyed it a lot. It's not Kanye's best, obviously, but there are still some REALLY good songs on here. "Ghost Town" and "Violent Crimes" are truly wonderful and deserve to be called masterpieces. One thing I do want to mention is that it's obvious that this album was made during the time where Kanye ... read more
I became friends with Jade not too long ago, but I first knew about her back in 2023 when I first started making music and was looking for people to help me. She never really joined in but we still talk for a bit. Flash-Forward to 3 years later and we're re-introduced through Twitter. She found my account while I was still promoting a project of mine and I invited to to my music server, the same server I originally was gonna invite her too all those years ago. We even talk a lot more now ... read more
Pretty good, I enjoy it. A bit too short for my liking but I can dig it.
