Ok, I'm gonna be completely honest when I say this, my sister and I used to be HUGE Melanie Martinez fans. Like, listen to all her albums a lot kind of fans. However, we grew out of her as of late, ESPECIALLY with all the controversy and allegations surrounding her. To anyone who hasn't seen my "Albums I Own On CD" List on here yet, PORTALS was my very first CD, and it was bought while I still wasn't a fan. I wanted IGOR from Tyler but they only had the Vinyl, so I ... read more
It's a good song, don't get me wrong. But it'll always rub me the wrong way since he was forced into making it while he was OBVIOUSLY in the middle of promoting something else. Kids are stupid and should be grateful for what they have and I was honestly upset to see Charlie give in to the peer pressure of a Chapter 4 song. It's still good, but he honestly should've waited until AFTER Project U Move to release it imo.
Not really the biggest country fan, not even CG5 could save it, but it has its nice moments and I respect it. Still not my favorite out of his originals though, I'll say that
I will defend this song with my life. While I don't think Charlie's voice would fit Gourdy as a CHARACTER, the song he made is still really good.
I actually really enjoyed this one. Ngl, would've been better without Kathy's adlibs, I'm sorry. Still a really good song though.
I was recommended this album from someone who has EXPLICITLY stated both in public and to my face that he hates my music taste. He would pester me every time I would talk about the artists I enjoy and just make me feel less than myself. He recommened that I listen to this album from one of HIS favorite artists as he claims it's a lot better than the artists I listen to. I'm now 100% certain that he's only shitting on my music taste to project because what the fuck is this? ... read more
This is by far CG5's worst song, and this is coming from his biggest fan. Nothing about this song is good and It was the start of something so awful. Had this song never been released and he never gave in to the whole "Meme Reaper" persona, maybe he wouldn't be as hated as he is now. But sadly, that's not the case.
Ok, I don't really consider myself the biggest k-pop fan since it's not my main genre of choice. However, the new BTS album really caught my attention after I saw it making rounds on the internet, so I finally decided to check it out. And I've come to the conclusion that it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Sure, it has it's low moments where the quality decreses a bit, including the absolute stinker known as "No. 29", but besides that, there are ... read more
I don't mind the song, but I will admit that it REALLY does get repetitive at times. The message of the song is important and we should keep it in mind. However, the chorus is the only thing that ruins the song, as well as the somewhat basic instrumental. Although, this is a song from 2019, so his sound has obviously improved since then, but still, it's bland looking back on
Smokedope is who Sematary wishes he could be, this album proves exactly that. Thank you so much to Dman for suggesting this album cause I really enjoyed this one a lot. He wasn't kidding when he said the songs were reminiscent of the 2016 Soundcloud era because I picked up a lot of the styles used during that time. I'm still new to this style of music, and this is my first time listening to a full smokedope2016 project, so apologies if I sound like a larper at times. I really enjoyed ... read more
Actually a really good remix. Happy that they brought back Will for this one since his voice REALLY works on metal. Sorry Charlie, but he honestly carried you on this one.
Y'all don't hate the album, Y'all just hate that Yeat's sober now. Yes, we're starting with that bombshell because a lot of these so-called Yeat "fans" need a reality check. You guys need to understand that people, including musicians, don't want to be stuck doing the same things over and over again. This album shows Yeat in his most vunerable state yet, and you can see that reflection of leaving the past behind and starting anew, represented by the ... read more
This is the second Kanye album that I have listened to in full. The first one being "808s and Heartbreak" which released back in 2008, which was 18 years ago. That was the Kanye that was in his prime. However now with recent controversies and scandals, Kanye lost what made him special. I just want to put it out that I do NOT support any of the things Kanye has said or done during the time period of his mental deterioration. Incest is wrong, Racism is wrong, and every Nazi should be ... read more
Definitely a lot better than what I was expecting considering I was told by KonKrete himself that he thought this was absolute shit, which is crazy cause he's LITERALLY PART OF THE GROUP WHO MADE IT!! But anyways, I actually quite enjoyed this project. It didn't come with it's low moments, "Hi Harry" literally has this super weird section near the end that I think the song would've benefited from not having, but I digress. It was a nice little project and I'm ... read more
I'm sorry, but I'm not a fan. Beat is generational and it was wasted on fucking Steak of all people. We've completely lost the plot </3
This is only really here for the New Production over the title track and "WAY OF LIFE" so I'll just make this quick. I know Tony probably chose to have new production over it, but I'm not really a fan. The new production of the title-track feels so empty and a tad bit basic, trying to replicate the feeling of the original yet failing to do so. "WAY OF LIFE" is a good song, I really enjoy the lyricism and production and it truly shines on it's own. I still ... read more
HOLY HELL, WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT FROM THE SELF-TITLE!!! "From A T's View" Is Tony T's sophomore album released a little over 2 years after his debut self-title. While Tony has sadly hung up his producer hoodie as all the songs off FATV are either YouTube beats or production made by friends, this project is still super high quality and Tony is an amazing rapper with all the songs showcasing how skilled he's become as a rapper. I really admire the solo songs on here a lot, ... read more
