I listened to 15 seconds of a single song and I feel my review is justified
One of the absolute greatest modern metalcore projects. An absolute treat to the ears throughout, you will not go through the album without wet underwear by the end of it. I would know because I have seen these guys live and I was dripping. Fantastic album with a fantastic selection of songs. No skips whatsoever.
What a mess. There's so much going on to the point of incoherence. Add to that some annoying vocals and even worse choruses. Sure, it's creative, and there is definitely talent on display, but it's absolutely not my cup of tea. If I wanted anime opening music, I'd listen to a cruel angels thesis.
Takes everything good on the base game's soundtrack and somehow improves upon it. Absolutely the greatest video game soundtrack of all time.
This is very exciting for metal. Funeral Sound is incredible.
English people usually shouldn’t be given birthrights but this is okay
The album is very long, but the highlights keep you engaged throughout and make the ride worth it. Beautiful music, really feels like you're floating through space at times. An all time classic, timeless collection of music. Another Space Song is absolutely one of the greatest songs of all time.
this album evokes the feeling of having a long, shitty day, coming home, hanging your jacket up only to watch it fall right down onto the floor and your only response is to sigh deeply. It's fucking beautiful, and I can't get enough of it. Actual masterpiece.
We have Radiohead at home.
It's fucking good though, some of the craziest most satisfying riffs, all around just such an enjoyable listen throughout. Just great rock music. Vocals and Instrumentals are top tier. Easily a top rock album of it's decade, and alongside Absolution, it's Muse's best work to date.
Highlights: New Born, Bliss, Space Dementia, Hyper Music, Plug in Baby, Citizen Erased, Darkshines, Megalomania.
White Pony is incredible if you enjoy men whimpering and moaning.
It's also incredible as an album. Revolutionary and way ahead of it's time, as clearly seen in the bands recent resurgence. A pioneer in the genre, and all of the copycats haven't quite been able to capture the same lightning in a bottle Deftones has managed to hold on to all these years. It's no exaggeration to call this a masterpiece, and every song on the album hold a spot among the best in Deftones roster. The vocals, ... read more
I saw a kid wearing a hoodie with this album cover on it and I've wanted it ever since.
It's Tool but without the math, and it works really well. Often times sounding quite beautiful, less of the badassery of Tool (though that's still present (Judith)) and more melody and emotion akin to classic 90s bands like the Smashing Pumpkins and Radiohead (Orestes and 3 Libras especially), which really allow Maynard to test his vocal range and play around. Each track is exciting and different enough ... read more
I fucking hate sleep token.
I really tried to be open minded and went in wanting to enjoy this, but it's just not great. If this album is supposed to be the best sleep token has to offer, I don't think I want to even give the other albums a chance. How these guys are as popular and loved as they are is beyond me.
I'm not sure if I'm just picky, but I absolutely cannot stand vessels vocals. I mean, really, does anyone who listens to metal music actually want to listen to the love-child of ... read more
This is so funky and creative and weird and what the fuck I love it so much I really hate british people
