This is fine. Too long but very nice listening. Also I'm neither american nor a whore and I'm listening to that song for fucking weeks.
This is for gay, depressed art students who are very pretentious about the music they are listening to. So yeah, this is quite nice.
I am so glad I found Do I Wanna Know on a fucking indie playlist so I could find this masterpiece of an album.
Edit: This album has the best basslines ever. Like, they are so wonderful and so fun and addicting to play while still being challenging. Best part of the album for me personally.
Ice Whyyyyyyy Ice Why
Good! Too long.
The dripping tap? More like my dripping dick (haha please laugh)
Surprisingly consistent even though it's long as fuck and normally I don't like long albums (hence the "low" rating for Ice Death). You can listen to all of these songs alone and they still work (evn with the looping which is very nice) and the rapping is really fun (or I am too unversed in the rap genre to find it cringy)!
Damn, this actually aged well! Some misses, but the signing to a major label seemed to really explore the talent of these boys. Also I hate myself for still liking so much of this freaking band but what can do.
Am I biased because this was my favourite band for such a long stretch of my young teenage years? Yes. Is this rating too high due to the fact that the best songs on here outweigh the boring ones by a lot? Yes. Do I actually like this album as a whole? Fuck no. Go check out Heavydirtysoul, Stressed Out, Ride, Tear In My Heart, Lane Boy, Hometown and maybe Polarize.
My dear fellows, you don't have to like an album just because your favourite band made it!
I tried to like this album, and I just can't. I am happy that Tyler is mentally in a better place but jeez this is some of the lamest alternative music I've heard since I banned Radio-Pop from my live. It just sounds like Ty was actively trying to copy the success of Stressed Out, Ride and Heathens, but god damnit you don't need that! Just look at Trench, it has banger songs, even though they weren't as ... read more
Even if I've fallen out of love with this band, this is still such a fine record. Before I've heard this one, I didn't give a shit about albums, concept albums and production, now these things are defining my taste in music. These two dorky Ohioan boys did a real good job with this one (and I hope their cringy fans will cease to exist).
Maybe not really diverse in sounds but at that time, it didn't have to be. This album defined, defines and will continue to define my taste in music and I am a better person for it. For all it's worth, without this band I'd probably still be a twenty one pilots stan, could you imagine?
yeah no this and ITI defined my taste in music. I love this album and these guys to death, even with their self imposed solitude. Also Why Are Sundays... so underrated like damn
