Some nice tracks I wish got finished here, prefer it to the My Soft Machine deluxe since this one at least brings some new ideas to the table.
None of the additions here are bad per se, but some are very very boring. It's also a bit odd to have a deluxe without a single new original track. The arrangement on the Acoustic Pegasus is pretty gorgeous though-- if the chords used there were used in the original, would have elevated it greatly. The redveil feature is also pretty sweet even though it clashes with Arlo's tone.

Eh... I love the original I'm Sorry, but this was fairly underwhelming. L.A.T.Y. has a wonderful voice, but I feel like the choice to have half the song in French when it's a song about Arlo juggling all her personal problems seems like a very odd contrast. Like it was clearly produced originally as somewhat of a revealing, lyrical track, so having half of it in, admittedly very pretty and well performed, French, was both jarring and didn't make sense for the song. A batch of leftovers from MICO that don't really feel like leftovers, it's a great continuation of the last stellar EP that also expands on the last's ideas.

Ngl never got the hate for this song, I kinda love it lol (rating this high for the yellow tho)
Has some really nice moments throughout but I feel like the vocals aren't always working with the track as best they could, and blend in a bit as well. Worth a listen, has some noteworthy moments, but isn't all it could be on first listen to me.
Really nice, between the mellow piano and the standout vocal performance from Ant, it's a really nice return -- not quite as good as Miles Away which anyone who's reading this should listen to, but still really nice.
Structurally and vocally this one's great, and the production overall is great. However the mix is a little compressed to me and the guitar comes a little out of nowhere. I like the more experimental choices at times here though.
Connor stuff is solid, good Connor verse, but I really dislike the Tommy Royale verse. Felt overdone to me in a distracting and unenjoyable way.
Just a shockingly solid tape- really pro-level stuff, super calm and soothing with some interesting production choices to keep it fresh.
A very basic track from Connor IMO-- all the production choices and lyricism, while somewhat competent, are really lacking in the creative department. I feel like almost every choice made in the song is the first choice you'd make when thinking of this type of song-- little to no innovation. Is it a decent listen? Yea. But not really a great output from connor.
Weirdly reminds me of some TPAB tracks in some ways with the talking over jazz-esque beats lol -- I mean it's OK but I don't think the suave vibe they're trying to get across here really works. The rapping is fine but I feel like they're trying too hard vs. tracks like Bankroll which are legitimately cool. Stuff like the singing laugh just feel forced to me.
To be fair-- Connor's output recently has been great. And actually, Connor is completely fine on the track. But between a few of the ... read more
Another great song from Wasia Project -- very different vibe from Petals but equally as interesting.
Wow-- gorgeous track. As someone who's listened to the beatles since I was a baby-- this really feels like a great sendoff track, including that violin at the end. Beautiful.
One of Steely Dan's best straight-up vibe albums. Not to say it is missing the great lyricism of the other projects, but this one really gets you in the frame of mind of this late-night LA vibe, especially in the sinister sounding Glamour Profession and the slow burn of Third World Man. One of my favs from the group.
Really like Joseph overall but think this album could have used some more concise editing, as well as a clearer vision overall. Production is solid, as are vocals for the most part, but doesn't leave me with more than a couple bangers. Boo Boo Freestyle is the greatest song ever made tho.
