It’s just as glossy and fun as an album called Razzmatazz should be. Incredibly catchy and dance worthy. Glad an ex member can confidently answer the question of “what if Panic! was still good?” Fav tracks: New Invention, Mad IQs, Kiss Goodnight
The singles for this got me incredibly hyped for the whole album. It’s difficult to admit though this is a bit of a let down. There’s enjoyment to be found on here, especially in the front half, but I feel like it’s a step down from the debut. Fav tracks: INFATUATION, GLOOMTOWN BRATS, SATANIC PANIC
These guys popped on my radar out of nowhere and I’m blown away by how much I loved this. The lyrics are incredibly clever and James Smith has a real unique delivery some may not love but I find very charming. The instrumentals are diverse with some real groovy beats I can’t help but move to. Definitely keeping my eye on them. Fav tracks: We Make Hits, Down by the Stream, When the Laughter Stops
Radiating an intense anger that is perfectly captured by lead singer Marisa. This is balanced out quite well with some softer harmonies like on the title track. Keeps the album interesting throughout its tight runtime. Fav tracks: I Got Heaven, Loud Bark, I Don’t Know You
Kacey is a nice person who makes some enjoyable and easy to listen to country music, so naturally country music radio hates her. Fav tracks: Deeper Well, Dinner With Friends, Jade Green
There’s a real simple beauty to this I found so captivating. Fav tracks: Slow Burn, Butterflies, Golden Hour
Not as good as Doug Walkers, but still alright I guess. Fav tracks: Another Brick in the Wall pt. 2, Goodbye Blue Sky, The Trial
I’m not insane and gonna say this is bad, but imo one of the most overrated albums of all time. Convinced this would not be as fondly remembered if that gosh dang rainbow wasn’t on every college freshman’s dorm wall. Fav tracks: Money, Time, Breathe (In the Air)
My dad had a WoW character named Josephina and out of curiosity I wanted to find out what it was from. All I can say is lol. Lmao. Least fav: Dirty Water Dog, Year to the Day, How Many Say I
Whenever this is on on my car every single time some requests it be turned off. Doing its job perfectly. Fav tracks: SCARING THE HOES, Lean Beef Patty, Fentanyl Tester
A supergroup of my favorite indie artists making an entire LP? Oh I’m in heaven. Fav tracks: True Blue, Revolution 0, Not Strong Enough
When this album came out I was fresh out of high school, moved out of my abusive dad’s house, and had no idea what I was doing with my life. This album helped me through a lot when I needed it most and will always be one of my favorites. Fav tracks: Smoke Signals, Scott Street, Killer
Holy shit you guys, I just found out we are a mosaic of everyone we have ever met and I am NOT okay. Fav tracks: Hot & Heavy, Christine, Please Stay
I was looking through my grandpas iPod one summer to put some music on at a pool party we were having and found this on there. Least fav track: literally every single one
Dreadful. Least fav tracks: No Fruits Or Vegstables, I’m Drunk, Morning After
For an album titled Cracker Island you’d really hope the tracks would blend together into a more cohesive picture, but sadly no. Some great stuff on here, but it’s missing that special sauce that makes it all truly come together
Making an album that is entirely singles loses that grand idea that makes Gorillaz best albums amazing, but damn it makes for a collection of songs that are banger after banger. Fav tracks: The Valley of The Pagans, Pac-Man, Désolé
The anti Humanz where a lot of the fun has been removed and we are left with a ton of 2D tracks that are in desperate need of spicing up. Fav tracks: Humility, Tranz, Souk Eye
