Some great ideas on this project. Just didn’t really fully get into it. I think subsequent listens will really get me in there

Beginnings are usually hard, awkward, and filled with a lack of confidence. This album really does embody that. It’s very bad with nothing really unique or good sounding

The hits are the only reason to come back to this album. Even if they aren’t great, they are at least memorable. Which the rest of the album clearly isn’t. Those first five tracks are generational though

What a great, high quality, rocking album. Everything here is so tightly packed and there is no time wasted. All the instruments sound great, alongside the singing. Might grow on me in the future

Lowkey sounded like Bob Dylan. Not too much though

A pretty solid debut album. Danny finds himself occupying a very specific niche that only he can fill. It doesn’t always work, but when it does, it’s super captivating. Both on a lyrical and production level

A real shift in JT’s music and identity. This must’ve blown people away when it first came out. But right now, it’s still great

Some really incredible indie rock songs here. Courtney has such a unique personality and voice to her. Makes all of these songs feel singular, yet contributing to the overall album experience as a whole.

Just some really well produced and sung blues. Brittany Howard has such a powerful voice. It really shines through these calm, collected instrumentals in such a cool way

Aside from the one big highlight, these songs don’t really feel cohesive or strung together in a meaningful way. They still sound good, just wished it was sequenced a little better.

A unique world that I could get lost in for hours. Cities aviv really has a knack for creating such cool atmospheres with bud production choices and delivery.

Powerfully written and produced. Really shows how great of a songwriter John Mayer is. Letting not only him speak for himself, but the music as well.

Some great songs but mostly a mediocre showing. Wish most of these songs sounded more like mr brightside and less like horribly mixed electronic elements with rock instrumentation
