This album is evil as fuck!!!!! But also like really pretty sometimes!!!!!!
Yeah.
I get how influential this album is, but it’s really just nothing special to me. A lot of filler too.
a little boring and repetitive but I mean, I made it for background music for a school project so can you blame me?
When I’m in a live album competition and my opponent is an East Asian band with a really long song as the final track
I found out about this band through a spanish project where I had to research musicians from spain. I stumbled upon this band because they're one of very few documented post-rock bands from spain. The first thing I noticed when I finally found their spotify page was that they had 14 monthly listeners which lowered my expectations, however when I actually listened to the album I was blown away. Not only does this album sound great but it's compositions are hypnotic and interesting.

Sufjan???????????
Ok so my only Sufjan Stevens album before this one was Illinois, needless to say this album was a surprise. Very good though, I personally thought the last song could’ve been shorter and I didn’t really enjoy it as much as the other tracks on the album. My god.
“Erm… the wall isn’t acshually that good, you know? I much prefer REAL music. Like Piper At The Gates Of Dawn”
I think aspects of this are better than Déjà Vu, but the tracklist just isn’t as consistent. The Autorace and Urban Frequencies are inoffensive and somebody is just a return to the sound of Déjà Vu. I think the rest is pretty baller though.
90->97->99
I’ll probably give it a higher score if I have two hours to burn and I want to get all my thoughts together about this album.
I had two hours to spare. this shit is GAS!
