@frogofprog thank you for urging me to listen to this work of art.
This album is perfection to a standard that I haven't come across before, to the point that this will serve as a gold standard for me in terms of future albums that are eligible for the 100.
Sure, the quality is exemplary and I will be commenting on that throughout the review but this album shines because it's a purposeful story with a revolutionary concept, not just a random assortment of flawless tracks or even a ... read more
A truly solid album with an extremely consistent quality. The combination of stellar lyricism and enthralling beats allows this album to sound effortlessly infectious. As far as a 21 minute album goes, it really doesn't get any better than Daytona but unfortunately with a run-time so short, its potential was capped from the very beginning.

Wait. wtf?!

The album being quite liked paired with the name 'yves tumor' among the producer list made me decide to listen to this album
It's really unique and it engulfs you entirely as it tries to depict it's story that ultimately comes off as directionless.
A lot of the words are incoherent and I'm unsure when I'd ever be able to listen to this. I can see the appeal but I guess it's just not for me. Their intentions to create a piece that transcends the barriers of ... read more
