Another lost electronic masterpiece from 90's, made by "Meat Meat Manifesto". A gorgeous blend of sound of the Prodigy and the weirds of Matmos and Autechre.
If you're too lazy to listen to their entire discography, this massive album is the best and most comprehensive way to understand what kind of band they are.
Despite the length album never fall into bore. Even the longest tracks on 2nd CD like "Electric People" sounds intriguing and adventurous.

The more I listen to new casual Weyes Blood songs, the more random the beauty of the her melodies from the Titanic Rising album seems. It's a pretty standard 70s radio pop song with no pretensions to being a hit. Bland though melodious.
Unfortunately, Tori's voice has become even more aged and rough. She hasn't produced any new discoveries since the 2000s, only variable songs quality. And yes, "Native Invalders" remains her best album since "Beekeeper".
Nevertheless, her talent remains unfading—every new album has at least two or three good songs to choose from.

If Autechre and Animal Collective had a baby with Yoko Ono as a nurse. This is how this weird bizzare album sounds.
Sometimes i think why late Autechre don't use some different new sounds like Black Dice does in this album? Atfer "Exai" they created nothing new in sonic experiments.

The surprisingly polarized opinions about this album, as well as her subsequent and final masterpiece, SW, continue to baffle. I personally explained this by saying that all 90s female singer songwriters were overshadowed by Björk's genius, and male reviewers don't consider that women, too, seem capable of experimenting and pushing the boundaries of pop music. It's now, these days, after metoo era we easily get overrated and "extremely gifted" singers like Self ... read more
Not every overly hyped DJs have at least one really worthwhile album. "In My Memory" got lost in his discography after further tons of commercial sets, but exactly in this album he sounded authentic - something between Underworld and Paul van Dyk. His epic Suburban Train and Magik Journey sound grandiose and gloomy, and in Lethal Industry and Flight 643 they are also brutal and sparse, just like in the best traditions of the "Second Toughest in the Infants" album.

The influence of the main founder of the Notwist group, and the husband of Valerie Trebeljahr, is stronger than ever here. Although the quality of the songs did not fall, the band began to lose its inherent futuristic personality and turned into a standard indie band. And thank God that Valerie later rid of all these guitar cliches in the next and best album of her career 7 years later.

A band that's hard to confuse with anyone else is quite rare. Lali Ouna is one of them. They blend tiny electronica, lo-fi, indie, and fashion-channel music. They are considered one of the first trendsetters in the indietronica genre.

The duo's last solid album, not counting the 2CD rarities compilation from 2013. It's their most danceable yet not vulgar or overtly commercial like Tirsto or Armin Van Buuren. The duo never loses their intellectual edge, even despite a single, terrible track like "Tired Of The Show."
Just delete it and you'll get another masterpiece from the group.

An important yet uneven Madonna's album. Alongside the great hits, there are blatant fillers, from "How High" to "Push." And its arrangements are far less interesting than those of "Music" and "ROL." "Hung Up," "Jump," and "Sorry" simply steal the show.

The album is a bit weaker than the debut, but has two more striking tracks. The beginning was promising, but then that awkward middle section set in and ruined the whole mood. But it's commendable that the artist maintains his style and doesn't slide into commercial pop. The strings in the second half of "Of the Sorrows" are very beautiful.

Chiastic Slide bridges the gap between early and late Autechre "islands", and you always have the choice of continuing on into LP5, where it reaches the point of madness in Confield, or returning to the familiar island with the beautiful Amber and Tri Repetae. Here, their signature roughness and love of almost full changes in compositions first emerges, as the opening track, "Cipater," immediately and bluntly points out
But the rather drawn-out and tedious middle section ... read more
While I love their later albums, I don't share the deliberately understated reviews of this album. I think it smacks of snobbery. Incunabula sounds much simpler and more boring, but Amber marks Autechre's first attempts at identity, and it's their most beautiful and methodical album in their discography, like Tidal is among 5 Fiona Apple's CDs.
This album sounds like an acceptable replacement for all those who are repelled by the excessive intricacies of the duo's ... read more
