I really ended up liking this one a lot more than I'd anticipated, as a big fan of Huron's western leanings, this was a big departure from what I'd enjoyed previously (Strange Trails, Long Lost) but the songs are simplistic yet well-written and instrumentally pretty subtle, thematically Lord Huron is yearning for the past for the bulk of the record, but it resolves nicely during Life is Strange, seemingly coming to terms with the last few years - hope he's well
I enjoyed it while it was on, but unfortunately it's very forgettable.
