Day 101/365: this joint is so damn theatrical. Former black midi bassist and 1 half of black midi's incredible vocal line up, Cameron Picton, now has a new band, my new band believe to be exact and this album to me feels like something we saw foreshadowing of in a lot of hellfire, on songs like Eat men Eat or still you get somewhat the same theatrical and really haphazard way of storytelling, one moment you're listening to the sweet choir vocals of "Target practice" the next ... read more

DDD S2 E8: another left turn in the career of pj harvey, she continues a bunch of experimentation she did on previous projects and this is quite a delectable listen if you ask me
Day 144/365: Vince staples graces us with a new project
Ok so this new project is such a weird turn for Vince but I dont hate it. The album has got some great guitar centered production, most of these songs have got an extremely loud guitar leading the rhythm, the riffs are simple but also quite delightful ngl, the guitar is slightly distorted and rough which I think was a conscious decision for Vince. Day 142/365: this is sum yall gotta hear to understand why I love it so much, it's got personality, charm and everything in between, it's somber, melodic and genius. The passion in the vocals is beautiful and present throughout, groundbreaking project right here
