20+ FOLLOWER SPECIAL!!
For the longest time I considered this to be my favorite album in the world, infact I still do.
Because of this record, I was introduced to so much music in my life, the fact that its a concept album introduced me to others like Tommy by The Who and American Idiot by Green Day. The concept is rather strange but its told very well.
Essentially (incase you were unaware) Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots is a concept album about a girl defending a city against evil pink ... read more
What can I say about this album that hasn’t already been said a billion times over the past two and a half decades? Well, hopefully, a lot.
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy was one of the first hip-hop albums I ever heard. For most of my life up to that point, I was deaf or was listening to rock and metal. I was into "basic" stuff like Green Day and Nirvana, but as I branched out, I found Radiohead and eventually discovered RYM (and AOTY shortly after). When I saw the top ... read more

If I had a nickle everytime there was a really decent hip hop posthumouns albums released this year, I'd have 2 nickles which isn't a lot but its really really suprising it happened at all. (the other being Bloonerism by Mac Miller)
Infinite by Mobb Deep is great. Not just "for a posthumouns hip hop album" it really is just great. The production is epic and it features beats from The Alchemist on a few tracks and none of the beats really feel out of place. I think it really ... read more
This is one of the cringiest albums I've ever heard...
Set It Off really changed up their sound here. Of course when any artist changes their sound, there will be haters and fans, and personallly I feel like trying new things is important in the world of music. However, Set It Offs self titled album manages to butcher everything cool about edgy nu-metal.
Cody Carson (singer and now rapper??) of Set It Off will randomly start rapping some of the hardest to listen to lines I've ever ... read more
