soon az i get home is definitely a miss. but the other tracks bring up the album. summer in london drags a bit. overall very solid
im a charli enjoyer, and while i won't be returning to this album a lot (it's not my style), i did really enjoy it. love the length of the album, it's concise and doesn't drag at any moment throughout. the intro track is a huge talking point here, you get right into the album with it. my favorite track was Altars, and i liked the closing track. overall it's a really solid album, just unsure if it will have any personal replay value. charli the goat tho
another great album from brent. he's consistently putting out good music and this was no exception. he strays from the darker rnb that he started out with - it's great to hear him singing about love. i liked many of these songs and the way he sings on these instrumentals; the beats are fantastic. probably the most i have enjoyed a brent album off first listen. he's evolved yet again, this is one of his strongest projects. a concise album done correctly, thank you mr. faiyaz
well, it's definitely a J Cole album. when you hype up an album for 8 years, it better be phenomenal, and this just wasn't. there's some standout tracks on here - WHO TF IZ U, Old Dog, I Love Her Again - but out of 24 tracks? there's not much to be happy about. a nearly 2 hour runtime where most sounds are 4-5 minues, theres a lot of empty space on here where it drags out. the features were lackluster besides future. overall i just feel like there's not a strong ... read more
Call Back is going triple diamond. im so let down… this is a huge step back from hardstone psycho. Long Way To Calabasas sounded so much better live, there's definitely a fumble on the mixing here. Body is great, TIramisu and ATM are solid singles. that's about all from this album. for as much build up as it had, it fell way short of my expectations. Rosary is alright. the teezo feature is one of the worse features ive heard of all time, and i really like teezo. the outro ... read more
not a bad album at all. gotta really appreciate the vocal performance here, and the guitars are just elite. im not even heartbroken or anything but im feeling a typa way after listening to this. "thank you for the venom" was my favorite, the production is insane. not something i'd throw on every day, but guarantee i'll come back to this when the mood is right
XSCAPE to Double Standards is one of the best 6 track runs of the decade, this album is undeniably great
it's good but i just cant come back to mac miller for whatever reason. hopefully one day it grows on me
Say You Will live was GENUINELY life changing. the whole album is really good except for the wayne ft
not a bad album. some genuine great songs here in praise the lord, buck shots, and hun43rd. its definitely cohesive and what you'd want out of an album, but it falls flat in some parts. gotta credit him for switching up the sound tho. it's kinda like every other asap album - there are a few songs that are REALLY good, then the rest are just ok. not bad, not great, just kinda there. enjoyable listen.
the song with frank is terrible idk how its rated so high
helicopter, stole ya flow, stay here 4 life, punk rocky all classics
song w/ tyler sucks
not a bad album
