Man.
This was the second album I ever listened to front to back. At the time I genuinely had no taste. I liked catchy songs, catchy hooks, catchy everything. The first album I heard was Graduation and then somehow I ended up here. I remember only liking Ivy and Nights. Nikes almost made me quit the album entirely and I thought half these songs were boring, weird, unfinished, or just straight up bad. Looking back, it's actually funny how wrong I was.

To be very honest It started off kinda weird with the vocal effects and the vocals feeling like they're overpowering the music and since its a whole another langauge it did take me a little time to adjust, exactly same as what happened with Honeydip, but after track 3 春と修羅 (Which is prolly my least favorite) it locked tf in and I started adjusting to it considering it's one of my favorite genres and I knew very well it wasn't gonna dissapoint me ahaha

I'm not a huge future fan, but man this future right here really had it in him, he doesn't just deliver, he delivers with emotion.
This is his most introspective album for me and that's why it stands out the most, such a consistent project with amazing beats, longer songs and really barely any bloat except like two or three songs, which aren't even bad, just not for me.
My man's got insane ability to rap, make amazing concepts and make the whole thing flow super consistently with BARELY any awkward moments in between
