Ok: Jeff Mangum has the most beautiful, powerful and passionate vocals i've ever listened to.
His voice is therapeutic.
I admit that i haven't listened to this soundtrack, but in the film context it fits so fucking perfectly that in the last scene it made me cry my eyes out. The film is now one of the most important things in my life.
I've heard individually "Coke Room", "Welcome", "Voodoo Mama" and "Finale" and are fucking bangers tho.
Edit: Ok, now that i've listened to it, the 100 absolutely remains. One of the best soundtracks ever made.
Maybe Albarn's post-Think Tank music is not for me. I try to like it, but most of the experiments sound very flat and unfinished to me.
Me to my sister: Hey! Listen to this song!
5 minutes later...
My sister: It's boring! It sounds the same for 5 fucking minutes! Now listen to "First Times" from Ed Sheeran!
Me: I want to escape from myself jumping into a river, seeing black-eyed angels that swim with me.
My sister: This song sucks!
My sister literally 10 seconds later: Let's listen to Ed Sheeran!
Me: 😭
Mia sorella mi costringe a sentire sta roba.
La sua voce è brutta. Le basi son tutte uguali. I testi fanno schifo. Just stop.
Edit: so che è solo un singolo, ma mia sorella mi ha costretto a sentire altre sue "canzoni" provenienti da album a caso. Questa è l'unica di cui mi ricordo il titolo. Ed è orribile. Come le altre.
This album is like a slow cinema folk horror movie for the blind
"The Sound" is a reinterpretation of the Pink Floyd's "Time" track from "The Dark Side of the Moon" and it is so beautiful that i'm fucking shaking.
Okay, THIS is a good wintry-chill-rap album.
Disappointed with "Eversince" from Bladee, i tried this. But this is fucking great!
Bladee and Ecco2k are friends and they influenced each other, so many aspects of this album remind of the debut album from Bladee: the chilly landscapes, the glacial trap hi-hats, the fragile lyrics...
But Ecco2k has much more talent than his friend Bladee. His lyrics are fragile, but not dumb like the Bladee's.
The phonosymbolic aspects of this album are ... read more
Woah, this album is really wintry!
First of all i've listened to other Bladee's stuff (some singles and his latest album "Spiderr") and i hated it. However i saw a lot of people disappointed with the newer style of this guy, while a lot of people hated his first albums and now are fans of him for the latest efforts.
I hate "Spiderr" very much. One of the most tiring listens i've ever had (in the sense that it is boring af to me, not even an interesting element, and his voice ... read more
This album has one of the most creative, absurd and exciting concepts ever
With this album i have a very strong emotional connection. There was a period where i could fall asleep solely listening to this album.
"Cutthroat" is one of the ugliest things i've ever listened in my life, it is so ass that I didn't think a thing could be ass as this lmao
