"Dawn of Chromatica" being one of my most anticipated albums this year. I am very excited about this album especially because of the several features which are mostly unknown in pop music.
It is fascinating to me how well the features for each song are chosen. Rina Sawayama who is active for LGBTQ+ rights being on an empowerment song just like free woman, or Pabllo Vittar who turns this whole song around and gives this album a perfectly contrast to the overall hard instrumentals. ... read more
I'm a little late for judging this album, but better late than never.
Over the past days I noticed this fatigue with modern pop again. Nothing really captured my attention or interested me enough that I would listen to a whole album.

Well, except of the chosen singles this album in general is underwhelming. Songs like "Oxytocin" and "Male Fantasy" don't quite connect to me.
I wasn't expecting the transition from ballad to rock song in "Happier than ever" thats sth I have to admit but since Olivia Rodrigo, etc. paved the way for rock being mainstream again, it is not as fascinating as it could be.

A delicate pop song. While this whole 80s vibe on most current pop songs seems forced, "Burning Bridges" sounds naturally.
That's pretty dope to be honest. The remix adds a lot to the song with the new 80s influenced instrumental. Obviously it's just jumping on the trend, but I like it especially for this song.
