REVIEWING ALL MY 10/10s #1
I decided to start this series of reviews so I can explain why I like this albums so much. I rate albums based on how the experience was so 10/10s don't have to be full of 10/10 songs, if all of the tracks were consistently good and some were perfect then that's a 10/10 album. I'm going to be reviewing them in the order that I rated them so Madvillainy is first, To Pimp a Butterfly second and so on (Enter The Wu-Tang will be an exception since I thought I rated that ... read more
Come & Get Me may as well just be the best Peggy song and WTHHHIT getting released is very welcomed.
REVIEWING ALL MY 10/10s #2
To Pimp a Butterfly is my favorite album of all time, that's pretty much an AOTY user cliché by now, like half the site's favorite album is TPAB, it has even got the most ratings and the highest score. Probably everyone has their own personal experience with this album, picking favorite songs is extremely hard since all of them are perfect, people's favorite songs always alternate. TPAB is a project that has got me through numerous steps of my life so I've got ... read more
The album consists of 19 songs with 1 hour 13 minutes, it's long but it makes sense since Travis didn't release music for a long time and he generally makes long albums anyway. Just as the cover looks, this album has a darker and slower sound compared to his other albums, it's even a little ... read more
Two albums I want to hear and review dropped today, this and Utopia. I'd have liked to listen to Utopia too but it's too late, I'll listen to it when I wake up later.
The EP consists of 4 songs with 14 minutes, it's just a short comeback from Richard, I hope we get more music in the future. I really can't explain each track very well since all of them follow a similar formula, some sick drums with a quiet synth in the background. I'd say that the two standouts were the two tittle tracks ... read more
The album consists of 11 songs with 31 minutes which I consider to be a slight improvement over the original Magic, just like a more refined version of this series' formula. This project is pretty simple, the songs generally just follow a verse then hook and repeat structure, there isn't really anything different to that, there's the intro but that's just a skit that sounds goofy and could've been left out (I'm not going to consider it in my favorite/least favorite songs because of it being a ... read more
