Pretty basic beat with a bloke talking over the top of it. This is barely even a song
Extreme nostalgia here. I absolutely loved Oasis when I was younger. While I have taken off my nostalgia glasses for some of their newer albums which can be rough at times. I can’t imagine putting it any lower than I have in the ratings
It’s a real shame because I did want to like this. Coming from the UK I always hear about the movement coming out of Manchester in the late 80s and how monumental it was for British music. So coming into this I had big expectations
While I loved “she bangs the drums” and “waterfall” hearing them before. The rest of it just didn’t really feel at all. Though it’s not terrible and I can fully understand why someone would like this
This is a bit of a mixed bag but more positive than negative. Some songs just aren’t for me but I completely get the appeal. There are some great standouts though. I really liked the aggression in “you should see me in a crown” and I like the emotion shown in “ilomilo” along with other songs. Still some I can’t take to though
Pretty good album and very surprised that it isn’t bloated at all. Did think it was going in a bad direction after the first 3 songs but everything past layup was just great. Really happy that I sat through the whole thing because it’s a great experience
Pretty good and solid throughout. The beats are on point and Saba is a really good rapper. Definitely got to check out more by him it’s definitely my style
50th Review!!!!!
This is such a nostalgic album for an era that I wasn’t even apart of. Hearing people like my dad talk about this album it sounded like the holy grail. They weren’t far off with certain songs on this being quintessential 80s pop. Head over heals is just amazing too can’t beat it
It’s pretty good. Mainly consistent throughout with nothing really sticking out for the wrong reasons. A couple stand outs too. Not too bad
So ridiculously atmospheric. Feels like I’m in some sort of forest in heaven. Beautiful album I’ve taken loads from it
Pretty bland and a huge fall off from pretty much everything she’s ever made.
45~>60: Genuinely think I was taking it a bit too seriously, while it’s not my favourite compared to what she’s made previously, whenever I hear it I can’t help but kinda enjoy it
Another really good album from Tyler. Though Lil Wayne carries on the streak of every song I hear with him I. I don’t like. That’s really the only negative tho I liked the rest
Listening to this, while it can be disappointing at times, really makes me realise how downhill it got after this one
Probably the most disappointing listen I’ve ever had. I really wasn’t a fan of the last album but at least there was some songs I could go back to like humankind. I guess all my love is okay but the rest may as well be AI slop
Really consist through out with a couple songs that really stand out. Faye Webster has such a solid set of albums to the point where I can’t really name a bad song in particular
Bit of a mixed bag but hugely elevated by individual songs that stand out so well. Delilah is just absolutely amazing
The songs are really great on here with some absolutely banging classics littered throughout. My only problem are the skits which are tolerable at best and obnoxious at worst. When they aren’t doing that, it’s great
Thanks @granolant for recommending.
Really had to search hard for this one but I eventually found it. I thought it was alright, maybe not for me personally. Definitely will give it another listen to see if it grows on me at all. Very lively though
Such a nice dreamy trip. Pairs so well with the album cover and nature as a whole. Really good album
Extremely consistent throughout. A real treat for me when all I hear is saturated country slop. This feels real and authentic
