This is the archetype of a badass, urban, gritty, yet elegant album. One of the most important artistic achievements of the East Coast.
This is perhaps the peak of 70s sound production. A velvety, atmospheric, and extremely elegant album. The first impression might be that of just another cheesy record your uncle listens to sitting in his armchair while drinking whiskey, but as the songs progress, you realize it's a damn good album. Simply a classic.
This is one of the purest, most innocent, and, for some reason, saddest albums ever recorded (It's a touch of nostalgic, familiar atmosphere in the heart). Not only that, it was already flirting with Dream Pop long before its creation.
It's a work of incomprehensible emotional complexity. Organic, terrifying, brilliant! Simply PERFECT.
