Can't really write a detailed review rn but this was a dream album for me. Every song is bleeding with everything I love about the genre of metalcore, brutally technical riffs and drumbeats, excellent mixing from... *someone*, and practically perfect harsh vocals. Features were amazing, especially the Make Them Suffer track, which had, another element of this album I really loved, beatiful ambience. The lyrics are written amazingly with a lot of very potent emotions and substance, with a ... read more
And we start off Beartooth's discography with an absolute ripper. The Sick EP is just a 4-track, rawer, version of everything their first effort, Disgusting, absolutely masters. There are tracks here i wish would get more recognition like "Go Be The Voice", and also very famous tracks like "I Have a Problem", which ended up on Disgusting as well. Not as much to say here that I can't say about Disgusting as well. Amazing EP, only critique? It's not an album. ... read more

Haven't finished but basically Slipknot made diet In Rainbows and I am *very* confused to say the least
What? THIS is the Strokes that everyone loves?
This so weird. The disney channel instrumental, that auto-tune (Which isn't even IN KEY), the odd production? I'm utterly confused. It sounds like a demo that they would trash after finishing. Who approved this?
One of the best tracks on the album, and probably my favorite Nickleback song.
i'm tired boss.
So Wage War made one of the best metalcore records ever in "Blueprints", right? And then made a few pretty good records afterwords, and then Manic came out and Wage War changed their style. People hated "STIGMA" (which, was one of my first metalcore albums, sadly) , so here we've got the band trying to be heavy again and completely overdoing it. This is not what I wanted, but it's perfectly fine.
"Just put autotune on the vocal and no one'll notice" - lightbleed, making quick jugg sesh
Man we are so back!
If Motionless in White is to continue in this direction with 2026's new record, I am all for it. "Afraid of the Dark" is a celebration of Motionless in White, full stop. It combines aspects of the sound of nearly every MIW era within one song. I really love the driving riff in the first half of the song, it reminds me of peak aughts metalcore like Killswitch Engage, which is a comparison that can only be a compliment musically (not regarding a live show ... read more
Why is it good? Like, I feel like I should hate it. I really hope they add it to the setlist, or some old shit as suggested in the intro :)
Man, I cannot describe with words how much I love Knocked Loose and their album "You Wont Go Before You're Supposed To". This new song shows clear differences from the usual sound of KL, like a guitar solo, and a repeated chorus. The song itself just fires on all cylinders, with a stunning performance from Denzel Curry, who I'm not too famillar with to be honest. I was expecting to enjoy this and my expectations were met.
Also, am I alone in hearing a bit of "Soft ... read more
Rest in peace to an absolute legend. When I saw them in August 2024, it was my first concert. Brad (RIP) gave an inspirational speech before this song, and I heard it for the first time as the sun set.
