pretty neat collection of demos, hope they end up rerecording some more of these like they did with pennies and petting the carpet,
fav tracks: mange; perfect prisons; you're too much
least fav: untitled
extremely solid album, easily my favorite release from conway so far and probably my favorite griselda album after benny's tana talk 3. last song gave me chills
fav tracks: piano love; stressed; god don't make mistakes
least fav: idk maybe chanel pearls
hoping this grows on me but as of now i'm not really feeling this. i wouldn't say this is a bad album or anything but it really left no impression on me whatsoever. most of the songs feel very samey and repetitive. very bland and dry, especially in comparison to benny's earlier works. i was very hyped for this after hearing the single "johnny p's caddy" but overall this album left me disappointed
favorite songs: johnny p's caddy; tyson vs ali; bust a brik nick
least fav: uncle bun
best part of this was the kamala harris sample
1. true love: not too crazy about the x hook but it's not terrible, kanye delivers a fairly decent verse that is easily one of the best moments lyrically on the project; mediocre song overall (5/10)
2. broken road: despite several cringey lines i overall thought this was solid, really nice bouncy beat, dope hook by don and another decent verse from ye (6/10)
3. get lost: would like this song if it was a 30 second interlude but as a full song it ... read more
never been super into $NOT but after how much i had enjoyed his single doja i decided to give this album a try. unfortunately the rest of the album does not get even close to the quality that song was. extraordinarily bland and derivative, this whole album was a chore to get through, albeit a couple decent features and some tolerable tracks in the back end of the project. very disappointing
fav tracks: doja; fighting me
least fav: euphoric
hard af. both hommy and fahim 100% deliver with this project
fav tracks: maslow's hammer; schroeder; nardwuar
least fav: smoke signal
this is awful but surprisingly a lot better than i expected. their first album in a while that i actually can kind of tolerate. nice to see that they're trying something different, despite how bad the majority of this album is.
fav tracks: valley of death; beyond incredible; forever or the end
least fav: surviving the game
