What made the Slim Shady persona's edginess and controversy work in the late 90's and 2000's is that he was actually seen as a bad influence to the public and his shocking lyrics. now that this guy has been inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame, won 15 grammys, played in the super bowl 2 years ago and is generally considered influential in music history, he still thinks he's public enemy #1 and is going to be cancelled by Gen Z and trans people.
New officially released Ween song (even if it's a demo) since La Cucaracha, life is good again.
The music video absolutely carried this. The song itself is just ok with the usual "happy song is actually dark" that I think other Vocaloid songs pulled off better but I wish there was alot more vocaloid songs that use both Miku and Teto.
If I had a nickel for every diss track that absolutely destroyed Drake I'd have two, which isn't alot but it's awesome it happened twice.
It's a silly, whimsical album but I'm really glad Bowie ditched this sound extremely early in his career cuz otherwise he'd be that one artist you'd see at the dollar bin at a record store. It's got a few ok songs but wow this album is just not good, also Bowie has an extremely thick british accent on this album.
