Kanye has fallen off in real life and now in his music. Theres nothing redeemable about this person, and now by transit of property his music. Because now it’s IN the music, now i have to listen to "YE COSBY BITCH" on an album because a man doesnt want to get help. At this point im just done trying to rationalize this man, i pretty much have been since the donda days. i just thought he could get better man.

Kanye West - The College Dropout

A lot about this album is elevated even more when you watch the documentary to be fair, but even then Kanye has NEVER and will NEVER sound like this again. After this album West never had to try, not saying that he never did again!(though his recent work does kind of reflect this idea) Kanye sounds like he's itching to make it, he has something to prove on this album and it really does show in just how creative, funny, and lyrically at his prime he's at. Kendrick Lamar - Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers

Lamar's vulnerability and shocking open-ness with his fans to be able to give them this album, cannot be commended enough. Mr.Morale feels like the direct follow up to 2015s 'To Pimp A Butterfly' atleast in terms of the problems that arise and are explored in this album. In a lot of ways its his darkest and most gut- wrenching album to date. I relate to it an ungodly amount, and the notion that before anyone can look up to you or see you as someone to respect, you need to work on yourself is ... read more

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly

its probably tradition on this website to give this album its flowers...huh? It is THE album after all! To Pimp A Butterfly is Kendrick Lamars' magnum opus. There is no other album in his discography that has the urgency of this one, that tackles heavy topics not just in our world, but of kendrick himself(maybe mr. morale but thats only helped by this album). Theres nothing else to say. You've listened to this and know its one of the greatest pieces of art of all time, and it sounds like it, ... read more
