Just to tell you straight up, this is boring & awkward at the same time. Both of these guys sound half asleep for the most part & I have no idea WTF Drake was doing on most of it because it sounds terrible & goofy as hell, especially references of his last year’s beef. This was a major waste of my V-Day.
Having a chill rapper & producer working with a trap rapper is a pleasant surprise. It’s crazy that they complementing each other’s style here.
I’m actually surprised how this album was put together, sure the singles were a bit hit or miss & the track list is a lot, but honestly the majority of this was beautiful & felt like a movie soundtrack. I think making this was the best way to end the character who’s been on the scene since the start of his career & we salute your craft.
The majority of this was almost the same by beats & bar standards.
I mean this isn’t the band’s at their peak, but I still like it, even though I can tell there running on fumes.
This sounds like the band’s going back to it’s glory days, but unfortunately it goes way overboard as it is & I’m disappointed.
I was hoping for another exciting FKA Twigs album & well as much as I like the dance tracks here, but for the most part, it feels slow, which is kinda made me lose a bit of interest here.
Also, I need to mention Childlike Things with North West just because of the Japanese lines that I think we don’t need to hear, especially after last time.
Overall, I still like this album as it is, I just wish I could enjoy it more.
This was long & most of the tracks were a mix of so so & mediocre at best.
It’s another Boldy James that has pretty unique flows, however the beats are more uptempo & almost sounds a bit mainstream. I mean it has a good vibe here & there, but it felt less serious compared to his previous work. Now I think this one is his weakest to date, but I still say it was worth hearing.
I was really excited listening to the second posthumous album since the first was actually solid, but it almost felt like this just loss some of that spark for me, to the point where I don’t think it might stick. But, most of it, is still pretty decent, the production are still smooth & Mac’s delivery is still pretty charismatic. I mean it’s still not a bad album, it felt rough around the edges & sometimes a bit bland.
This was something that I was hope to enjoy since for my love of EDM, but the more I hear it, the more I feel irritated from a few raunchy beats that sounds too robotic, which almost to the point sloppy. I mean there are a few that I can handle & like a bit, but the dance grooves isn’t hyping me up too much, it’s honestly not for me.
First off, I did listen to this album, even though I can’t understand any Spanish coming out of it. Besides that, we have another Bad Bunny album where it’s a bit long & everything is rough around the edges.
However, the upside is Bad Bunny’s delivery sounding quite better & the production having its moments here and there.
Overall, this is an improvement in quality comparing to a few from his discography, but it still feels like the album kinda overstays its ... read more
This was an album that was exciting, but feels underwhelmed at the same time. Now most of the process is good, full of heavy inducing vocals & the songwriting are abrasive. But, not saying this is a bad thing, but for the most part, it just feels a bit less special to me.
After a 8 year hiatus, including the tragic plane crash Travis Barker was involved in, glad he’s still around to this day & unfortunately this is their last album with Tom Delonge for long while, however, they delivered their hardest & mature stuff right here. It feels like the band are still going strong vocally & lyrically.
This album feels very dark & majestic. The vocals, songwriting & instrumentals really gives a scary texture, kinda feels like Halloween. However, some tracks that involves a spooky sound is rough to hear all the way, leading to a big hop personally.
