This is a decent attempt for Snoop to bring back his glory days, but unfortunately, it’s pretty much a mixed bag of solid & mediocrity. Also, the track list is a tough to handle because some of them have some forgettable spots.
An album without the main vocalist is pretty hesitant because there are a few bands I can think of that continues on this journey where some might stick, but it’ll also falls flat when it’s not the new vocalist, it just how they creates a messy project is the problem.
But on this, well the band can still make pretty solid stuff. The instrumentals are still strong & definitely crispy. Also, the new female vocalist is pretty soft & nicely touched with the production, even ... read more
This was a long one to handle & some bars are a bit flawed. I hope this one will grow on me because I know that E L U C I D is a talented rapper & his work with Armand Hammer is for sure amazing.
This is what everyone is waiting for! I’m glad to hear Skrillex back at this lane because there are some much crazy head bangers which is definitely replay values. It’s also probably his most abstract & formost work in a long time.
Really Will, this is your best effort after 20 years of hiatus. This is a massive disappointment!
Lil Durk actually delivers. His lyrical content are more furious & compassionate. Also, his flows are more on point than usual.
Timbaland is back once again & this time, he’s going for this African tribe in the mix. And it’s just fine, I mean this is just an albums with instrumentals & that’s about it. It can be forgettable when you hear the whole thing, he should’ve put some afrobeats artists to make it a bit exciting, that’s all I’m saying. But, it’s still worthy to hear, especially putting this on at special events.
I think this one was all over the place. There are a bunch of styles that at times sounds like it’s going to stick with me, but it felt a bit dull & doesn’t connect with Jessie’s delivery that well. Also, I’ve never been huge of Jessie’s vocals as I thought she kinda goes off the rails on points, to the point it sounds obnoxious.
I was hoping I would like this album quite a bit as I think Jessie Reyez is pretty unique of what she’s doing, even though ... read more
This took some time to grew on for me, but this was just a mixed bag to hear when it comes to the pinching vocals & instrumentals.
Not gonna lie, I don’t mind if Quelle Chris is producing these instrumentals, but making a whole album about it is kinda bland at points. I would rather hear rappers doing their thing on these beats because the beats he’s creating are pretty decent. Overall, I think this album is something to vibe out to, but this just needs a sign of flows.
I didn’t know what to expect when Selena Gomez is working with her boyfriend Benny Blanco outside of possibly making upbeat & romantic tracks, but also probably bland & weird stuff along the ways. But I’ll say, this one is fine by me based on the heartfelt / soft spoken songwriting & the smooth / groovy production being a helping hand to avoid a bland release.
But outside of that, there were some duds here & there like the interlude or the one with Charli XCX, which ... read more
This just feels like a collab between Chainz & Lil Wayne. But outside of that, this has some impressive moments from both of them, some cool & stellar, some funny & corny.
After 5 years of anticipation & inpatients, we finally got the final product we’ve been waiting for. Honestly, I don’t get the hype of seeing a new album from this dude after the controversy from last year. I’m also not a huge Carti fan, so I wasn’t too thrilled to see him doing something mind blowing, especially with a few of those singles. But, I still gave this a shot to see what kind of experiments he has on this album & well I’m sorta surprise with ... read more
