One of my favorite R&B records of all time. Saadiq is in the Songwriting R&B mount rushmore.

It is fascinating how beautiful the songwriting goes. It has such a unique theme surrounding the album. Jeff Mangum is a genius.
No one seems to appreciate how great the mix is for a 1998 release.

If humanity gets wiped out, I want this album to be immortalized like a hieroglyph in an ancient king's tomb. Put this amongst the seeds in the seed bank up in Norway so that post-apocalyptic humans will appreciate the past.
